Author’s Preface
This updated version of The Hidden History of Humanity I (2025) replaces an earlier title, Unveiling Genesis: Mysteries of the Rootraces and Cycles (2017) – which was a massive update of the first version of The Hidden History of Humanity (2005)!
In the interests of greater simplicity and after feedback from various readers, it was decided to revert from the two-column version of Unveiling Genesis: Mysteries of the Rootraces and Cycles – to a one column “letter size” format (8.5” x 11”) – for easier viewing of images, tables and diagrams.
In the process, the original title has been reclaimed, with an added “I” for volume I: The Hidden History of Humanity I – and a completely new ISBN number. This title numbering will accommodate other planned volumes in the series: The Hidden History of Humanity II, III etc. – with qualifying subtitles.
This book also has the same title as the 2017 video (see above) found on the author’s YouTube channel. (10 million+ views.); there are around ten versions in different language subtitles – translated by native speakers and students of the wisdom, not by machine!
The Hidden History of Humanity I addresses the most arcane mystery of our planet, Humanity’s place and purpose upon it. Hence, the Ageless Wisdom or The Mysteries are just that – mysterious! They require the blending of esoteric knowledge, deep reflective study – and intuition to really fathom their depth.
If that task is not challenging enough, this work has been hampered somewhat by the expression of the main source material in the writings of H.P. Blavatsky – a Russian woman whose first language was not English, who lived in the Victorian Era, when English was expressed much differently than it is today – archaic words were used that are unknown today!
The rules for grammar and their application then were somewhat pedantic, profuse and dense. When there is a forest of quotation marks, brackets, italics, archaic language, varied spellings, references and footnotes to stumble through – it is formidable and almost impenetrable for the average student!
Hence, the combination of these factors has made The Secret Doctrine (and the Old Testament) difficult to read – and with its wandering style, ensures the hapless reader will be lost in the proverbial Minotaur’s Maze!
Therefore, in trying to make a clearer synthesis of The Secret Doctrine and the Old Testament, to not only deal with the aforesaid, but to give space for the consideration of the actual concepts discussed, some visual aids have been created:
1. Profuse illustrations with figures, tables, diagrams and artwork. The tables and diagrams make the whole subject less abstract and more accessible.
2. Artwork, particularly from William Blake and Gustave Doré, has been used extensively because, (a) They both painted extensively on themes of Genesis and the Old Testament in Book II. (b) They were both mystics and visionaries – especially Blake, who was an accomplished poet and painter. (c) Art’s evocative nature carries a note of beauty, compensating for the sometimes dry nature of the material studied. A picture can convey a 1,000 words as the old adage goes.
3. In this edition, the bolding of words, sentences and sometimes whole paragraphs – has mainly been dropped in the interests of simplicity – to allow the reader to focus upon what they deem important.
4. Indenting ¼” all quoted material and hence dispensing with quotation marks. This will assist the reader in quickly distinguishing between author’s commentary in Georgia font 13 pt. font and the quoted passages in 12 pt. This unusual step has been taken because this is a large format reference book and large font is needed when physically holding it!
5. Paraphrasing of several long, obtuse passages that I took the liberty of tweaking (quelle horreur!), due to their complexity and verbosity. (Quotes from The Zohar in particular.) This is acknowledged for those few sections with appropriate footnotes, hence the student can always go back to the original text to compare.
6. Breaking up long paragraphs written in “stream of consciousness” mode, where HPB no doubt, was furiously taking dictation with one hand while rolling a cigarette with the other! Breaking these paragraphs up allows the reader a bit more “breathing space,” to reflect upon the host of ideas that such a stream of words can encapsulate.
7. Some quotes and tables are repeated several times because of their many nuances and their examination in different contexts. Repetition in the science of occultism is always useful to reinforce certain concepts.
This book is a synthesis of H.P. Blavatsky’s The Secret Doctrine, the first six chapters of Genesis and The Book of Enoch – greatly augmented by the writings of Alice A. Bailey. The following themes represent some of the subjects covered in this new and extensively revised book:

A couple of months ago I did finish reading your latest book Unveiling Genesis. I confess that I am not sufficiently equipped to respond on the level of this tremendous bridge that you have created to bring about a fine connection between those that adhere to studies about Gospel, Bible and other related Christian value studies – and those of the esoteric branch of the Ageless Wisdom. Undoubtedly this is a crucial work to bridge the two parallel worlds.
You have accomplished a tremendous task and an incredible one that demonstrates once more the caliber of your inner equipment in terms of coordination, articulation, vision and access to intuitive planes which is all we ask for.
I did read the book with maximum interest trying in vain to see beyond the spider web that you wove about information and teaching which otherwise willl remain buried amidst the large intricate labyrinth that HPB unleashed with her inner fire. I never before saw so many links interpretations (read translations) of her humungous work. Which to me means that your study of her was not an easy one. I have read most of all HPB’s books and I can tell you that I am not on the level for such a task. Instead you did advance all the possibilities and more links in trying to understand her meanings and purposes. So for that, I really thank you.
In regards the book itself, I tried my best to grasp all the possible connections, relations, links and synchronicity of the events. As you probably know this is a massive text book to be imparted in close circles of study if not in future university curriculums. My limited understanding or perceptive correlations served to expand my horizons within the framework of my “equipment”. Regardless, it was fascinating reading with easy reading and easy presentation. Visually was very helpful to have all those images, diagrams and other visual information to facilitate and encourage the reading and the massive digestion.
I could go on in praising all your tremendous work (sorry I like the “tremendous” thing) but it is futile and always falls short to accomplish any real meaning. So I will finish here. Any serious student of the Occult mysteries will instantly recognize the value and importance of this amazing work. So much of the information on these esoteric subjects is randomly dispersed through a variety of sources, and as such can be very difficult to digest and assimilate, but Phillip has done an incredible job of pulling a great deal of it together into a cohesive whole that is much more easily understood than say the works of Helena Blavatsky, Rudolph Steiner, or Alice Bailey alone.

For those who may not know Phillip he is one of the leading esoteric astrologers in the world whose books have become esoteric classics. When this huge tome landed upon my desk I was excited by this vast update of his ‘Hidden History of Humanity’ and all at once impressed, in awe and somewhat overwhelmed by its vastness.
Unveiling Genesis is undoubtedly Phillip’s Magnum Opus and the result of insight combined with careful academic study. The book is essentially two books clashing like great Titans into one narrative. Book One leads us through the corridors of Blavatsky’s great Secret Doctrine revealing the essentialities of Globes, Rounds, Chains and Schemes let alone Races, Sub Races and Root Races.
This is all quite daunting to more simple souls such as myself yet Phillip guides us onwards through this labyrinth to the heart of this esoteric science. There is much to be mined here so do not be put off by the task of it. Blending DK, HPB and the known history with the revealed brings about reward.
Book Two grabs the reader by the hand and speedily leads off into the esoteric interpretation of the Genesis of the title. Utilizing the enormity of the Secret Doctrine and other sources Phillip weaves a pathway between the mysteries of Rootraces and Cycles and tackles the thorny question of the esoteric history of the Jewish Race.
