Mary the Virgin Mother
Sept. 8-9 celebrated the Nativity of Mary – mother of Jesus, often depicted in the sublime Da Vinci painting, The Annunciation. There is the Church’s literal interpretation but there are far deeper universal significances – as discussed in Blavatsky’s Secret Doctrine:
“Gabriel, the Archangel, holding in his hand a spray of water lilies, appears to the Virgin Mary … This spray typifying fire and water, or the idea of creation and generation, symbolizes precisely the same idea as the lotus in the hand of the Bodhisat who announces to Maha-Maya; Gautama’s mother, the birth of the world’s Saviour, Buddha. Thus also, Osiris and Horus were represented by the Egyptians constantly in association with the lotus-flower, the two being Sun-gods or Fire.”
“The Angel Rasiel of the kabalists is the Angel Gabriel of the Nazarenes, and it is the latter who is chosen of all the celestial hierarchy by the Christians to become the messenger of the ‘annunciation.’”
Lilith
Mary is part of the trilogy of Eve, Isis and Mary – representing the integration of the form nature, the three-fold lower self or personality – mental, astral and physical. The following passage is most illuminating and includes the author’s commentary in [ ]:
“… four of the names whereby the Virgin is called … tell us much as a whole concerning the form nature of which the Virgin is the symbol. The word Virgo itself is a descendant of and a corruption of an ancient Atlantean root name which was applied to the mother principle in those far off times.
This Virgin was the founder of the matriarchate which then dominated civilisation and to which various myths and legends bear evidence and which have come down to us concerning Lilith, the last of the Virgin Goddesses of Atlantean times; the same thought is also to be found in the traditionary accounts of the ancient Amazons, whose queen Hercules defeated, wresting from her what he sought.
[This story is told in the sixth (Virgo) labour of Hercules, one of the few that he failed, where Hercules needlessly killed the Amazon queen Hyppolyte who offered her girdle given to her by Venus.]
This is an allegory, teaching the emergence of the spiritual man from the control of matter. Three of these goddesses are Eve, Isis, and Mary. They are of peculiar and significant importance where our civilisation is concerned for they embody in themselves the symbology of the entire form nature, which, when integrated and functioning as a whole person, we call the personality.

This personality is (as far as humanity is concerned) the developed and qualified expression of the third aspect of divinity, that of God the Holy Spirit, the active intelligent and nurturing principle of the universe …
Eve is the symbol of the mental nature, and of the mind of man attracted by the lure of knowledge to be gained through the experience of incarnation. Eve, therefore, took the apple of knowledge from the serpent of matter and started the long human undertaking of experiment, experience and expression which was initiated—from the mental angle—in our Aryan times. [5th Rootrace]
Isis stands for this same expression down on to the emotional or astral plane. Eve has no child in her arms; the germ of the Christ life is as yet too small to make its presence felt; the involutionary process is yet too close; but in Isis the midway point is reached; the quickening of that which is desired (the Desire of all nations, as it is called in the Bible) has taken place and Isis consequently stands in the ancient zodiacs for fertility, for motherhood and as the guardian of the child.
[The quickening is a name for fetal movements around 4-6 months after conception.]
Mary carries the process down to the plane or place of incarnation, the physical plane, and there gives birth to the Christ child.
In these three Virgins and these three Mothers of the Christ, you have the history of the formation and the function of the three aspects of the personality through which the Christ must find expression.
The sign of Virgo itself stands for a synthesis of these three feminine aspects—Eve, Isis and Mary. She is the Virgin Mother, providing that which is needed for the mental, emotional and physical expression of the hidden but ever present divinity.
These three expressions are brought to the needed perfection in Leo, the sign of the individual, developed self-consciousness and personality unfoldment.2 [Here lays the mystery of the Sphinx with the body of a lion and head of the virgin.]
Flood in Pisces Nepal (Aug.26.)
Prayers for Nepal and all who perished or were rendered homeless. So far, almost 1,400 deaths and 5,500 missing, including 517 foreigners and 933 hydropower workers. Bodies were recovered downstream – 250 km (150 mi) away.
By now most have seen the terrifying videos of the flash-flood in Nepal that swept down valleys and rivers, destroying lives and property. The primordial and awe-inpiring power of nature saw gigantic boulders as big as houses tossed around. It was thought to have been caused by the collapse of a glacier chunk that had a 5.2 seismic impact recorded around the world.
“Analysis of satellite images suggests that the flow reached up to 80 kph (50 mph) downstream, with inundations reaching a height of 800 m (2,600 ft) in a valley some 7 km (4.3 mi) from the origin.
Floodwaters reached settlements as high as 80 metres (270 ft) above the river level. In Nepal, residential areas and infrastructure, including roads, sustained extensive damage.”3
So now the blame game begins – China because of over development in the region – according to India. USA because it halted USAID funding. Sabotage by some unknown party. “Climate change”.
Shiva’s abode on Mount Kailash, is just 300 miles northwest of the flood source (as the crow flies) – destination for many foreign and local pilgrims moving through the area. Siddhartha Gautama Buddha was born in Lumbini, Nepal – sitting on the Indian border, about a 100 miles southwest of the flood source.

Mt. Everest is just east of the flood event and Darjeeling, one of the five major planetary centres, is just a little further east. Darjeeling is a Scorpio and 2nd ray soul, through which some of the Masters of Wisdom work – from their residence in the Shigatse region.
The world witnessed the furious rage of the goddess Kali, fiercest form of the goddess Durga. The festival celebrating these two deities falls in early October. The August-September festivals celebrate Indra – the Hindu god of rain.
The event horoscope is based on the time of the seismic registration and has some extraordinary features.
Nepal Flood August 2026.
1. The theme of Pisces is strong. (Nepal has the sun in Pisces.) Pluto-Kali the destroyer is the esoteric ruler of Pisces, position of the Earth at the event (Aug.26), and the moon two days later at the eclipse (Aug.28.)
Kali is associated with themes of death and disaster such as floods, symbolising the transformative power of destruction that leads to renewal and liberation – reflecting the cycle of life and death in nature. Some villagers in Nepal were heard saying, “The goddess Kali has tricked us!”
Sun-EARTH in Virgo-Pisces was T-square to Uranus in Gemini, foreshadowing the Aug.28 lunar “blood moon”eclipse T-square with Sun-MOON in Virgo-Pisces.
Uranus the disruptor, associated with earthquakes – which apparently was not the case in this event, but delivered an equivalent seismic jolt.
2. Mars in Cancer conjunct Ceres on the midheaven, square to Saturn in Aries on the descendant. Two planets angular. Mars the god of war and conflict, dominates the chart from the midheaven and is close to Nepal’s Saturn in Cancer. Cancer and Ceres represent Mother Earth – severely stripped bare by the wrathful Kali.
Saturn is opposite Venus and the Libra ascendant – the law, money and right relationship themes are prominent in Nepal’s rapid development and unstable politics.
3. A Yod from Neptune and Pluto to Sun-Mercury at the apex. The “finger of god” from Neptune the god of the waters and Pluto the lord of the underworld. A formidable combination focussing on Sun-Mercury in Virgo.
4. The degree of the Sun in Virgo is closely opposite Nepal’s Sun in Pisces – part of a grand cross formation with Pisces ruler, Neptune in Sagittarius – in its natal chart. Pisces Nepal is no stranger to devastating floods, almost every year since 2019.
5. Pluto conjunct the Moon in Aquarius. 11 hours earlier, the moon was exactly conjunct Pluto. Perhaps the moon’s gravitational pull at that time contributed to the dislodgement of the glacier, which crashed early the next day.
The Moon in Aquarius was also approaching an opposition to gigantic Jupiter in Leo. Both positions straddle Nepal’s Mercury in Aquarius opposite Moon in Leo. Issues of Nepalese sovereignty here: China, USA, India and Japan are involved economically and militarily with Nepal.
Given the involvement of many foreign travellers, the global impact of this event and the themes of Mother Earth carried by Cancer and Virgo – this Piscean flood appears to be a stark warning to Humanity. With unprecedented storms and flooding all around the planet – natural or artificially created, planet Earth is under attack – an urgent wake-up call for all.
2015 Quake
This 2025 event occurred ten years after a major quake in Kathmandu – and avalanche on Everest in 2015. The Gorkha 7.8 earthquake struck on 25 April 2015 near Kathmandu, killing 8,962 people and injured 21,952, and caused about 3.5 million people to become homeless. Dolly Parton’s Departure
It would be remiss to not acknowledge the passing of country music icon Dolly Parton during the Virgo full and new moon periods – a timely exit! Parton and country music – this author is happy to part on – if you will pardon the pun!
But she is an interesting astrological subject, with the moon and rising sign in Virgo the wordsmith, seeing her write over 3,000 songs and create 49 studio albums. Not exactly Leonard Cohen or Bob Dylan, but prolific!
Her horoscope is powerful: Sun-Venus in Capricorn in the Leonine 5th house, hence her gargantuan mane! In fact, bouffant would be a better word, reflected by her recently opened Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville – titled “project bouffant”.
Coming from “rags to rhinestones”, she was a shrewd Capricornian business woman as well. This 5th house sun is generous and big-hearted. Sun-Venus are square to her Jupiter in Libra in the 2nd house of money – a sign that esoterically rules money, the law and sex. She was reputed to be a billionaire but gave away at least half of that.

Here is Parton the philanthropist and her Imagination Library for children (very Virgo), founded in honor of her illiterate father – who sired twelve children, six boys and six girls!
Venus in Capricorn square Jupiter in Libra was part of her beauty signature, including Jupiter’s expansive breasts! Sun-Venus square Jupiter is “larger than life” and as they say in Australia, “you can’t ignore those norgs”!
The other part of that signature is with the finely wrought features that many Virgo rising women carry. Here is the Virgo triple goddess – Eve, Isis or Mary. As the “Queen of Country” – a beauty queen, the Isis archetype was strong.
Virgo the Virgin never had her own children – ironic, coming from such a large family, yet she became the large-breasted “mother of many” – through her library program for children and her music: Parton the patron and matron.
This is reflected by Mars and Saturn in an exact conjuction in Cancer the Mother, both planets opposing Venus-Sun in Capricorn and T-squaring Jupiter in Libra. The astonishing Sabian Symbol for this 22nd degree is, “A prima donna singing”.
Parton’s sun was in the last (anaretic) degree of Capricorn, on the cusp of Uranus-ruled Aquarius. She was a true “cusper” in this respect, carrying qualities of both signs. Uranus dominates the horoscope from the midheaven in Gemini – a sign of communication and writing, having Virgo’s Mercury rulership in common.
Parton was a truly unique Uranian, innovative and diversely Geminian. Uranus closely squares her Virgo ascendant soul purpose, so played a powerful role in her life. Virgo ruler Mercury is in Capricorn – trine the Virgo ascendant, bringing wise and careful thought processes to highly discriminating and studious Virgo.
Virgo also carries the 2nd ray of Love-Wisdom more powerfully than any other sign, probably one of the key qualities she transmitted to her adoring audiences. In one interview she stated,
“Whether you believe in God or not, whether you call it Mother Nature [Virgo-Cancer] or Father Time [Saturn] or a higher wisdom … you need to believe in yourself and you need to believe there’s a force that can push you and lead you on … I’m not a religious fanatic … I am a “person of faith” and “a very spiritual person”.”
Here are just a few tidbits about Dolly Parton’s fascinating life, may she travel well upon her lighted journey!
Postscript
There were many rumours about Parton that have provoked storms of controversy, one of which that later in life she became an MK Ultra candidate – for which many celebrities have fallen foul, or willingly engaged. Their names are legion!
She was also a zealous proselytiser of the Covid vaccine (See video below at 10’ 15” – cringeworthy!), meaning well no doubt and donating $1 million to the insidious Fauci-connected Moderna company. (See also author’s 3 years of Covid analysis here.)
It is worth bearing in mind that about 80% of humanity fell for Big Pharma’s scam, which includes the same percentage of the spiritual/esoteric communities. This video of the propaganda at that time, would be hilarious if it were not so deeply disturbing!
The following video makes a reasonable and feasible analysis, in the spirit of not attacking Parton. The very sincere Christian show-host falls into some of the usual misinterpretations – such as the word “occult” meaning evil instead of “hidden”, all masonry is negative, lucifer etc. So some of it can be taken with a grain of salt, or a big bucket if that is your preference!

Jupiter in Leo conjunct Dubhe (Highly significant for the USA.)
“The two Pointers [Dubhe & Merak] and the Pole Star are mysteriously connected with the three aspects of incarnated man – Spirit, soul and body. These three stars are embodiments of the three aspects of divine will.”4
Dubhe is one of the two pointer stars to Polaris the pole star – the three of them work together as an esoteric triangle:
1. Polaris – “The Star of Direction –governing Shamballa … star of re-orientation … recovering and refacing that which is lost … eventually brings a man back to his originating source.”5
2. Merak – “A focal point for divine energy, carrying out God’s purpose … Leo is peculiarly susceptible to the influence of Merak … a sense of right direction and guidance … registered by disciple upon the Path.”6
3. Dubhe – “Lower aspect of the will … Self-will … guides humanity upon the involutionary path … active influence on life of man on the mutable cross.”7
These stars correspond to the first three “rays of aspect” – Will-Power, Love-Wisdom and Active-Intelligence. This transit will be highly significant for the USA over the Virgo new moon period, but also from Sept. to May 2027 – when the pointer star Merak is activated – “a sense of right direction” and invocation of the 2nd ray – soul ray of the USA.
“The divine necessity of achieving alignment is portrayed for us in the symbolism of the sky.”8
Jupiter-Zeus
2nd ray-ruler Jupiter, is now transiting through Leo the Lion-Heart for the first time in 12 years, in orb of influence to Dubhe for the past couple of days – and making its exact conjunction (15° Leo 34’) on the Sept.11 new moon.
“Leo is the sign wherein the consciousness of individuality is developed, utilised and finally consecrated to divine purpose. It is related to Polaris, the Pole Star (found in the Little Bear) and it is also peculiarly susceptible to the influence of that Pointer [Dubhe] in the Great Bear which is the nearest to the Pole Star.”9
Whatever Jupiter contacts, it amplifies the expression of that body -“expressive of a lower aspect of the will … self-will.”
One of Jupiter in Leo’s expressions might be described as “bombastic” – as it expands upon the theatrical and dramatic qualities of Leo – with grand gestures. (Sounds like any particular world leader?)
In 2003, during Jupiter’s transit over Dubhe, the USA launched its bombing invasion of Iraq. Then again in another Iraq skirmish on the next Jupiter/Dubhe cycle in Sept. 2014. With Jupiter/Dubhe in orb again, in the past couple of days the US resumed its months-long attacks on Iran, with tragic consequences to some children and others in a wedding party.
9/11 aftermath …
This critical “self-will” and grandiosity of Leo factors will be around for almost two weeks – leading up to Jupiter’s exact conjunction to Dubhe at the Virgo new moon – on the 25th anniversary of 9/11.
9/11 was the beginning of the Neocons’ plan to “take seven countries in five years” – infamously relayed to General Wesley Clark: “We’re going to take out seven countries in five years, starting with Iraq, and then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and, finishing off, Iran.”
That decades-long Neocon ambition (through Democrat and Republican admins) – is now in tatters, as Iran has demonstrated that it can hold its own. Yet, even in the face of obvious defeat, the loss of personnel and armaments, without any seeming strategy, plan or dialogue – the US vainly persists with further aggravation.
Its a bit like Monty Python and the Holy Grail’s black knight, known for his refusal to admit defeat despite having his arms and legs lopped off during a duel with King Arthur.
At the 9/11 new moon, there is not only the aggressive “self-will” factor amplified by bombastic Jupiter in Leo, but also the activation of USA’s troublesome Neptune in Virgo – square Mars in Gemini, in the 1776 horoscope. (Mars falls on Trump’s Gemini sun.)

This much-discussed pattern is the underlying source of USA’s regime toppling and starting wars with about 50 nations in the past 75 years! The 9/11 new moon falls on idealistic but deceptive Neptune in the 9th house of foreign affairs.
Furthermore, Lord of Karma – Saturn in Aries, is activating USA’s hardline Sun in Cancer square Saturn in Libra, creating a T-square to its Sun – which rules the 9th house. The point of least resistance here is to go in hard.
Ignoring restraint would cause frustration through blocked action, lessons here about taking responsibility and recognising healthy boundaries.
These patterns are also exacerbated by USA’s progressed Moon position in aggro Aries for another few months, spanning the much-anticipated mid-term US elections in early November.
Long story short, these astrological correspondences could spell disaster for the USA – in economic freefall, already bogged-down in an ill-advised war – with no exit strategy, and at the mercy of a tiny nation that has gained control of the White House.
It could be USA’s Waterloo – where it loses “bigly” and is humiliated into permanent withdrawal, already underway and declared by various independent pundits in the past few months – contrary to what the MSM is reporting.

It is also a dangerous period where desperation might lead to rash decisions about more virulent kinds of warfare. From Mid Nov. ‘26 to early Jan.’27, transiting Jupiter sits stationary for six weeks on Trumpanyahu’s respective Mars positions in the same degree of Leo. A dangerous period for acting with even greater impunity (if that is possible!), driven by megalomaniacal ambition.
Transiting Jupiter however, ruler of USA’s 2nd ray soul, may bring opportunity for the nation to return to soul purpose, through its three hits to Merak (19° Leo 39’): Late Sept. 26, early March 27 and mid-May 27.
The last hit falls on the Wesak Festival full moon in the last degree of Taurus (conjunct Alcyone) and T-square to USA’s moon in Aquarius. Alcyone in the Pleiades is, “The Star of the Individual—governing humanity.”
Returning to transiting Jupiter in Leo’s theme, Polaris and its relation to the pointer stars – repeating some of the earlier references in a broader context:
“Leo is the sign wherein the consciousness of individuality is developed, utilised and finally consecrated to divine purpose. It is related to Polaris, the Pole Star (found in the Little Bear) and it is also peculiarly susceptible to the influence of that Pointer [Dubhe] in the Great Bear which is the nearest to the Pole Star.
Esoterically speaking, the Pole Star is regarded as the “star of re-orientation” whereby the art of “refacing and recovering that which is lost” is developed. This eventually brings a man back to his originating source.
It might, therefore, be correctly inferred that this Pointer [Dubhe] and the energy emanating from it guides humanity upon the involutionary path, and is constantly active in its influence upon the man who is still upon the Mutable Cross.
Then the energy of the Pointer furthest from the Pole Star [Merak] begins to make its presence felt and a sense of right direction or guidance is registered by the disciple upon the Path, and such g10uidance (when followed) leads man nearer to the Hierarchy.
It is here that the divine necessity of achieving alignment is portrayed for us in the symbolism of the sky and when it has been achieved then there is a direct inflow of divine energy and man is linked up in a new and creative manner to sources of divine supply.
Astrologers will do well (in connection with the horoscopes of disciples and particularly of initiates) to consider the two Pointers and the Pole Star.”11
Vulcan – from spirit into matter.
Pluto – uplifting matter into spirit.
Humanity invokes the energies of fixed stars in many different ways, mostly unconsciously; those forces find their way into this solar system and are “picked up” by various planets that relay and transmit these energies through the zodiac signs, toward Earth.
Vulcan and Pluto, the two rulers of the first ray of Will-Power, transmit emanations from Merak and Dubhe:
“Vulcan and Pluto are related to the two Pointers and are only now beginning, in any definite and clear manner, to affect human response. Their effect has been planetary in its nature up to date and has not hitherto been at all effective in either the fourth [human] or the second [plant] kingdoms in nature.”12
This is a revealing statement – hence Vulcan, a “sacred” planet, relates to Merak (soul), whilst Pluto (a “non-sacred” but “esoteric” planet), connects to Dubhe (personality). Vulcan also rules nations at a certain stage of embryonic soul expression13, complementing the fact that Vulcan and Pluto are influential at the first initiation:
“At the first initiation, the disciple has to contend with the crystallising and destroying forces of Vulcan and Pluto. The influence of Vulcan reaches to the very depths of his nature, whilst Pluto drags to the surface and destroys all that hinders in these lower regions.”14
All nations, like individuals, are at various phases of the Path, either at the stage of the Path of Aspiration, the Path of Discipleship or the Path of Initiation:
“Austria and Germany are nearing the Path of Discipleship; Brazil is on the Path of Probation and will rapidly move forward; Austria is nearer true discipleship than is Germany…”15
In summary, it appears that the two pointer stars, through Vulcan and Pluto, are starting to, “affect human response … guiding humanity upon the involutionary path”, to the point where, “… guidance is registered by the disciple upon the Path” then, “… recovering and refacing that which is lost” to, “… eventually bringing a [wo]man back to their originating source.”16
