Capricorn 2023-2024: The year that was and will be …..
We reflect upon the past year during the sign of Capricorn – the mountain top of material and spiritual achievement. We ponder our failures and make new year’s resolutions; we reflect, resolve and renew — relinquishing regret over lost friends and opportunities; we resolve to rectify wrongs and renew our “vows”.
This process is not unlike the soul’s journey, passing into the afterlife. Capricorn is one of the signs of death – of completion, yet the doorway into renewed life – hence Janus and January. Two-faced Janus who looks back upon the year that was – and forward to the year that will be.
Capricorn is a sign of initiation into the mysteries – and Saturn its ruler is currently in Pisces, marking the completion of a 30-year cycle. Both Capricorn and Pisces are signs of death – the former ruled by Saturn the lord of karma and reaper of cycles; the latter – esoterically by Pluto the destroyer, transformer and ruler over the “lesser burning ground”.
These are most timely cycles that lead Humanity up to the momentous year of 2025 – the great Centennial Conclave at Shamballa and the imminent externalisation of the Hierarchy. Saturn enters Aries in 2025, initiating a new cycle after the harvesting process of Saturn in Pisces – of the past 30 years. Pluto by then will be well and truly into its new cycle in Aquarius until 2043.

World events of the last few years have intensified treading the burning ground of the lower self, yet also “standing ground” – claiming the new “territory” that the higher Self has “captured”; achieved by a ruthless rooting out of all that impedes progress – individually, for a group – or nationally.
Tension and turmoil are rife in many nations, as the global power status quo struggles to hold onto the past – whilst new players emerge. Humanity’s struggle for freedom of speech, from cruel oppression and ongoing genocides, must persist and be ultimately victorious. May the refugees find refuge.
Between now and 2025, a nexus point between the zodiacal ages, the intensity of the fires will increase, as the soul of Humanity battles the forces of materialism – incarnate as the planetary Dweller on the Threshold. The past few years has been a build-up to this – but many of us will be pushed beyond limits that we thought were not possible, to a breaking point even – as the Will to Serve and Save is invoked.
The resistance to these opportunities for change are so deep-seated that one can almost hear the great wheels Pisces-Aquarius grinding and groaning during this cuspal, chrysalis period. Let us hold fast and lay waste to the past; cultivate courage, counter fear and face the daunting scenarios that loom large.
How we set an example in our communities will go a long way toward alleviating these crises. As the old structures crumble, our endeavours continue building the new paradigm emerging – applying the Aquarian values of co-operation, sharing, community and universal brotherhood.
Much sacrifice will be demanded in these coming years, as the petals of the Anahata lotus unfold – as love and peace seek to conquer hatred and violence. Take not this injunction as a platitude – but hold it as a treasure in the Chalice of the Heart!

Dear Phillip,
What a treat to receive your thoughts on New Year’s Eve; just lovely. As Dr. Douglas Baker would point out, many Masters of the Wisdom and White Brotherhood, spent at least one life as poets, including The Tibetan Master. They were Masters of painting with thoughts and words. Again, this missive is so beautifully written as to inspire and uplift hearts during an era that cries for it during the Kali Yuga. Although, not religious, I loved the words [among many] “renew your vows”. Capricorn trudges on regardless of the obstacles, even when the Path is rocky. My mantra this year, will be, “The greatest good, for the greatest number.”
Kind soul, may this new year in preparation for 2025, keep you in good health and prosperity to carry on the work for humanity and the hierarchy.

Could you clarify regarding minor conclaves, major conclaves and Shamballa impacts and when they are held/happen in our 3d space time?

It’s reassuring to hear that the Divine Plan is unfolding, on time, as it should, amidst all the turmoil and suffering. Humanity is at the precipice of a change perhaps unlike any before. Some souls will be well-placed, spiritually, to prosper under the new consciousness,. But the masses, not so much. To coin a crude expression: the tide is going out and everyone and everything is being exposed. The thematic dialectic proposed by Leibniz – Thesis, Antithesis and Synthesis – is certainly visible. “Let instability do its work!”

People live their lives hypnotized by the talking heads and can become fanatics. Little do they realize that fanaticism is a prison for their minds. Then there are those who live with their habits, traditions and post hypnotic suggestions of others. For some, who are striving towards spiritual ideals, this may create clevages and conflicts in their mind resulting in confusion and loss of discrimination. Karmic limitations may also apply. I was taught to live a life of Beauty, Goodness and Righteousness. This will remind us that dedication to light, love and beauty will maintain our sanity.
Appreciate hearing from you as this pensive last day of 2023 leads to consideration of the possibilities we can shape.
