The Meaning of a Full Moon Eclipse and Blood Moon
The Virgo-Pisces full moon eclipse on Sept.7 is part of the regular cycle of annual eclipses. To remove the somewhat superstitious element or fear around the theme of eclipses, some explanations are in order. Esoterically, an eclipse fixes the patterns in the heavens into the etheric body of the planet; it “bakes-in” so to speak, the energies of the astrological signs and planetary configurations at the time of the eclipse.

In so doing, that pattern can be activated for up to two years by transits of planets to the degree point of the eclipse. That is why eclipses are so important in the personal horoscope, or the birthchart of any entity – a business, an institution or a nation. Physically viewing an eclipse also stimulates a sense of awe, wonder and the mystery of our place on Earth – stirring ancient, primordial memories from the subconscious.

Spanning more than five hours, the celestial event will peak with an impressive 82-minute totality phase, when Earth’s massive shadow will plunge the moon’s entire near side into a reddish darkness — earning it the eerie nickname “blood moon. It will be visible from Asia, Australia, Africa, and parts of Europe, while North America will not see this event. 

This full moon is called a “blood moon” because of, “the reddish appearance of the moon, due to Earth’s position between Sun-Moon, blocking sunlight and casting a shadow on the moon. Scientifically and astronomically, the red hue is caused by sunlight filtering through the Earth’s atmosphere, scattering blue light and allowing red light to reach the moon’s surface.”2

Full moon eclipses signify major transformations, acting as resets that disrupt normal patterns and routines. These routines are ruled by the moon because they are so well-established – we do not think about them because they are below the threshold of consciousness.

Hence the interruption allows for deep reflection and the release of emotion (moon), allowing the light of the sun to illuminate what is hidden – leading to personal revelation.

Eclipses are also associated with endings – providing opportunities to release outdated habits, relationships or beliefs that no longer serve one’s soul purpose.

The lunar nodes traditionally play a crucial role during eclipses – closely conjunct the Sun-Moon axis – superficially at least, representing the destiny of future growth (north node), or past patterns (south node). When considering all of the above attributes, eclipses can be seen as opportunities for spiritual awakening, connecting us to the 6^th sense – the intuition, and deeper aspects of our being.

Virgo-Pisces Full Moon Eclipse: Jupiter in Cancer
Jupiter in Cancer occupies a powerful position in the full moon horoscope of Sept. 7 (a total lunar exclipse) – in an “easy opposition” aspect to the Sun-Moon. That is, Jupiter makes harmonious aspects – a sextile to the Sun in Virgo, and trine to the Moon in Pisces. Moon in Pisces and Jupiter in Cancer are in a powrful mutual reception, creating an harmonious dynamic that encourages emotional support and growth. (See chart below.)

Virgo-Pisces are both conduits for the 2^nd and 6^th rays – love-wisdom and devotion respectively. In this cycle, Virgo is the strongest sign in the entire zodiac for the expression of the 2^nd ray – and Jupiter is its ruler; so the full moon period promises to be a “love-fest” of sorts! Mars is in Libra square to Jupiter in Cancer, creating a need for harmony and balance versus a need for emotional security and care.

Mars-Jupiter rule the solar plexus and heart centres respectively, allowing an opportunity for energies to be raised to the heart. Mars falls on Netanyahu’s moon in Libra, so this will be interesting to watch, whether he goes full throttle on the next conquest, or backs down.

This, in light of impending war plans in the Middle East, said by observers as imminent in the weeks of September. Therefore, these planetary configurations may offset or spoil plans of the war-mongers. May Jupiter prevail, by Jove-Love!

The Sirian Connection
The Sun and Jupiter are the co-rulers of the 2^nd ray of Love-Wisdom – the primary force that influences our entire solar system – and which is intimately connected to Sirius. Hence, Sun-Jupiter’s rulership of the heart centre in every human being.

Leo-Virgo is the sphinx and Virgo is the “triple-goddess” of Eve, Isis and Mary. In the Egyptian tradition, Isis is synonymous with Sirius (the Nile star), just as Osiris relates to Orion. Note the connection of Isis with water, a symbol of the astral plane, just as Eve is associated with the fiery mental plane and Mary with the physical. As discussed in the recent Virgo new moon newsletter (Aug.23), regarding Pisces – a water sign like Cancer:

“The central light of Sirius shone through the eye of the Son [our Sun, Sol]; the vision came. The light of wisdom penetrated into the waters and cast the radiance of the Heavens into the depths. At this attractive call, the goddess rose unto the surface (the fish-goddess, the symbol of Pisces), welcomed the light within the depths and grasped it as her own …

Given that Cancer rules mass consciousness, the position of Jupiter is to, “Fuse and blend into one cooperative whole, the great dualities expressing themselves through humanity. Here is the potential for material desire to be transmuted into divine love, and the conflict which is the distinguishing characteristic of the human family can be instrumental in resolving dissonance into harmony.”3

Jupiter in Cancer
A profound passage to reflect upon, also considering Jupiter’s exaltation in Cancer, so prominent at this full moon,

“In its highest, Jupiter is the outgoing expression of love, which attracts magnetically to itself that which is desired … Jupiter is exalted in Cancer … Love as relationship to divinity and wisdom as relationship to form, lie behind the soul’s intent. Jupiter in Cancer is the perfect instrument of service which the initiate wields as [s]he seeks to render mass service instead of being involved and lost in the mass.”4

The following quote is an experimental mash-up of Jupiter in Cancer – riffing off an online AI question, interspersed with some of the author’s ideas. Bear in mind that AI derives from 20 years of this author’s newsletters freely available on the internet, plus all other author’s astrological writings in the public domain! Yet it must be used with utmost discernment because it can make us lazy, feed personal ego and kill individual creativity.

One must hone very finely the discrimination these days – as to whether an AI image is “real” for instance. Or whether an article that has been written by AI, often brilliant and accurate – was from the mind of a student or author who is claiming their own authorship? “Jupiter’s exaltation in Cancer is a call to expand the soul’s capacity for love, compassion, and emotional wisdom. It invites individuals and collectives to be generous, materially and spiritually – by connecting to the planetary heart, embracing vulnerability and fostering a sense of home within oneself and for others. Through Neptune’s esoteric rulership, Cancer is linked to the development of intuition or “divine reason” – the ability to access “buddhi” at one level – or at another, buddhi’s reflection in the subconscious realm.

Jupiter in Cancer’s stimulation of Neptune has the potential to foster a deep trust in the inner voice, soul’s guidance and alignment with higher spiritual truths. Bear in mind, Cancer is the polarity of sometimes hard-nosed Capricorn. Hence, Cancer – ruled by the Moon, represents the Mother of the World, source of life and sustenance on all levels.

Cancer is a sign that rules mass, unawakened conciousness. Jupiter in this sign encourages humanity to move beyond personal desires of the emotional self; upward from the solar plexus to the heart centre, bringing a greater sense of unity; it fosters the idea that true abundance comes from giving and receiving love, nurturing community, and honoring the sacredness of life.

Jupiter in Cancer’s shadow side manifests as emotional excess, over-identification with feelings, or a tendency to cling to comfort and security at the expense of growth. Esoterically, the lesson here is to balance the nurturing, protective instincts of Cancer with Jupiter’s call to expand beyond the personal and into the universal. The soul must learn to release attachments to the past or overly sentimental tendencies and use emotional wisdom to uplift others without becoming overwhelmed.”

Israel and the Healing Force of Virgo
This is a subject the author has written about many times over the past 20 years – particularly the last few years, discussing the role of Zionism and its negative impact upon the Jewish people – and the world as a whole.

Horrific events continue to unfold in Gaza, while some of the most powerful Western nations stand by, supporting the genocide with money and armaments – by doing nothing, or meekly submitting to various pressure groups.

Various European nations have condemned Israel’s actions but ultimately their empty words attempt to assuage their own guilt – for lacking the courage to adopt a more forceful intervention. Or to look at their complicity in supplying arms to Israel.

This is the the greatest shame of the 21^st century, that the world is being forced to witness: The despicable destruction of the Palestinian people, while nations – or the United Nations do nothing – or are hamstrung, compromised, even blackmailed in some way. And to add insult to injury, those who have protested in the USA and Britain, are arrested, fined and/or jailed. What has gone terribly wrong when nations ignore the basic tenets of humanitarian 101?

A nespaper poll found that 64.5% of Israeli’s are indifferent to the agony of the Palestinians. (See later table.)

As stated regularly in these missives, global Zionism controls a “triangle of evil”:

“[Written late 1940’s] The area of difficulty—as is well known—is the Near East and Palestine.  The [Zionist] Jews, by their illegal and terroristic activities, have laid a foundation of great difficulty for those who are seeking to promote world peace. As a Jewish member of my Ashram pointed out (and I commend him on his soul vision), the Jews have partially again opened the door to the Forces of Evil, which worked originally through Hitler and his evil gang. [Compare Netanyahu and his “gang” in 2025.]

The “sealing” of that door had not been successfully accomplished, and it is the part of wisdom to discover this in time. These Forces of Evil work through a triangle of evil, one point of which is to be found in the Zionist Movement in the United States [AIPAC, ADL etc.] another in central Europe, and the third in Palestine.  Palestine is no longer a Holy Land and should not be so regarded.”5

The main head of the “beast” is in the USA, where lobby groups have exerted their considerable, broadly-financed power upon Congress and presidents for decades. In fact, each congress person has a personal AIPAC “minder”! (See the many Israel Lobby Groups in this footnote.)6

Their octopus-like reach, depth and penetration into many facets of society has been assiduously planned and executed all around the world – particularly powerful in some countries like Britain, Canada and Australia. Furthermore, the UN Security Council is compromised through the dominance of the USA vetoing 49 draft resolutions pertaining to Israel – since it first began using it in 1970.

The World Food Programme (WFP) has run out of food in Gaza Strip as Israel continues to block the entry of all humanitarian aid into the enclave, home to over two million people.

The USA blocked Security Council resolutions calling for a ceasefire in Gaza – four times in 2024 and in June 2025, despite overwhelming support from other Security Council members. Through the succubus of Zionism, Israel has virtually strangled the USA – into not only supplying Israel with endless financial assistance, but has poisoned and paralysed the very soul of the nation.

USA is a 2^nd ray soul of Love-Wisdom – as is Britain. Both nations have strayed widely from their soul purpose in recent political administrations. A sad irony, given their past histories as world champions of freedom and democracy. History shows us that nations have their ebb and flow, they fall down and rise up again.

From the total Jewish population worldwide (16.8 M) nearly half or 46% (7.73 M) live in Israel. Out of that population, Haaretz newspaper reports that a jaw-dropping 70-80% of Israeli’s approve of the government’s operation in Gaza. Conversely, support in the USA has dropped significantly, with 60% voicing disapproval. Among the other 40%, lay the many non-Jewish, Christian Zionists who, in their blind devotional ignorance, are salivating over Judgement Day and Armageddon.

Encouragingly however, a large number of Jews in Europe, the USA and around the world are aghast at what is being done in their name. Thousands are speaking up in podcasts, videos and the printed word, to furiously denounce the genocide. And many Jewish people are now seeing through decades of brainwashing, and rightly discriminating the differences between Judaism and Zionist politicial ideology.

Tapping Judaism and Old Testament stories were always a cloak for their nefarious activities of domination and control. (See later section: Jews Against Zionism.) Similarly, the public at large has entered a higher phase of planetary awareness about this problem – which is not rooted in “anti-Semiticism”, but the cold, hard facts of history. And speaking of history, a must-see 18′ video draws the picture of how past events have brought Israel-Palestine to 2025.

Hijack of the phrase “anti-Semitic”
The majority of Jews in Israel are of European or Ashkenazi origin. Zionists have slight regard for Jews who are not white Europeans; that has been the preference for Jews who want to migrate to Israel.

About 50% of the world’s Jewish population are of European origin, 30% from the Middle East or North Africa and hence truely Semitic – and 20% of mixed origin.

Here is another example of how Zionists have created a mythology and a potent catch-phrase that is the standard knee-jerk reaction to any criticism of Israel.

The predominantly Ashkenazi-Zionist power base – uses a phrase that does not technically refer to them, but which has been established as a virulent thoughtform that ensnares those who challenge their supposed authority.

Rays and Astrology
This dominating behaviour of Zionism is the shadow expression of the 1^st ray soul (Will-Power) of the Jewish people, combined with their 3^rd ray personality, whose shadow is devious and continuous manipulation:

“Because of this third ray influence, you have the tendency of the Jew to manipulate forces and energies, and to “pull strings” in order to bring about desired ends. As a race, they are natural law makers, and hence their tendency to dominate and govern, because their egoic [soul] ray is the first.”7

The sword is ever the symbol of the first ray, just as the pen is the symbol of the second ray.

The Catholic Church and China also have the exact same rays as the Jewish people – 1/3, sharing some of these tendencies, both negative and positive, yet also qualified by different astrological signs, e.g. China is a Taurus soul with a Libran personality.

Of course these negative 3^rd ray characteristics exist through all of Humanity, another reason why it is said, when the “Jewish problem” is solved, the human problem will be solved. The Jews are a microcosm of Humanity, expressing its worst and best features:

“When humanity has solved the Jewish problem (with the understanding cooperation of the Jew) and overcome ancient antipathies and hatreds, it will do so by fusing the problem in one vast humanitarian situation. When that happens, the problem will be rapidly solved and one of the major difficulties will disappear off the face of the earth.”8

Does the world now find itself in “one vast humanitarian situation” – as defined in Gaza, to which the whole world is reacting like never before in history?

The Virgo-Pisces Polarity of the Jewish People

There is a great opportunity during the month of Virgo in August-September 2025, to invoke the Virgo-ruled soul of the Jewish people. Why? Because uniquely, there are two new moons – one recently in the 1^st degree of Virgo, one to come in the 30^th degree of Virgo, divided in the middle by the Virgo-Pisces full moon lunar eclipse at the 16^th degree of this sign.

“Virgo is the sixth sign and of it the six-pointed star is the ancient symbol”. (Also known as the Star of David.)

As the 6^th zodiac sign, Virgo is linked to the six-pointed star – a.k.a. the Star of David or Solomon’s Seal – potent in Biblical history. Esoterically, this star represents the upper triangle of spirit, unitified with the lower triangle of matter, portraying the process of involution and evolution,

“… carried to the point of balance, expressed for us in the relationship of Virgo to Libra9 … the fire of matter or substance and the fire of mind blended … makes man the six-pointed Star of Light …10 … the six-pointed star of humanity, and of this Science [Science of Stars of Energy], King Solomon’s Seal is the well known symbol.”11

Of all the 12 zodiac signs, Virgo is the most powerful conduit for the 2^nd ray of Love-Wisdom, the “missing ray” that mediates between the Jewish 1^st ray soul and 3^rd ray personality.

That 2^nd ray expression by Jewish people has proven itself throughout history, in many fields of activity – particularly psychology and the arts, whereas other areas such as occultism (Kabbalah, magic), politics, business and science are on the 1, 3, 5, 7 “will” line of rays, corresponding to the 1^st ray soul.

Virgo is a sign of high intelligence – which the Jewish people inherited from the so-called “first solar system evolution”, where the energy of Virgo was prominent. Hence their capacity to “punch above their weight”. Whether a zodiac sign is a soul ruler or not, it is still has a shadow expression, which in Virgo results in a complex interplay of carping criticism, perfectionism, obsession with detail, OCD and control.

This shadow is rooted in Virgo’s need for order and analysis, often leading to an obsessive desire to know everything, control situations, find fault and correct others, which can erode the self-worth of those around them.

At the end of the Age of Pisces, the Piscean polarity of Virgo is a much needed healing balm for the Jewish people – and the world as a whole. Unfortunately however, modern Zionist Israel has invoked the lower expression of Pisces – victimhood, sentimentality, emotional blackmail and martydom.

This psychological situation has of course, its roots in centuries of persecution, prejudice and suffering; Jews who have been expelled from one place or another, creating the “wandering Jew searching for a homeland.” Here is the great paradox because the Jews themselves were not entirely blameless, they helped create that situation but were also innocent in many cases. Reasons for persecution in recent centuries,

“… were driven by a complex mix of religious, economic, nationalist and racial ideologies. In the early modern and medieval periods, religious antisemitism was dominant, rooted in Christian teachings that blamed Jews for the death of Jesus … This led to widespread segregation, expulsions, and violent persecutions, including pogroms during the Crusades and later in Russia.

Later in the 18^th and 19^th centuries, resentment arose among those who felt economically or socially displaced. Jews were accused of monopolising modern professions such as finance, law, journalism, and industry, and were perceived as disloyal to their nations despite their citizenship.”12

Spiritually speaking, the Jewish homeland is not a physical location, but integration into the broader community of humanity – throughout every nation on Earth.

To do that, the Jew must release an inherent sense of separation, the racial glamours of being special or the chosen ones. Would they but know it, they are the “chosen ones”, but for a very obscure and occult reason that concerns the transmutation of humanity’s emotional energy:

“The Jews as a whole, constitute the solar plexus of the planetary Logos; their problem is being used today to focus, qualify and condition the world feeling-nature and the emotional reactions of the sensitive nature of humanity and of the planetary Logos …”.13

“… what is truly taking place in the world today is the transference of the energy of the planetary solar plexus to the planetary heart centre … I am not speaking idealistically or mystically. I am pointing out the immediate goal; I am indicating a problem of our planetary Deity.”14

The higher expression of Pisces is unconditional love and compassion, forgiveness being the primary element. Forgiveness to others who have wronged them, forgiveness to themselves – and the utter relinquishment of psychological baggage accumulated over thousands of years. Not an easy task for a Capricorn personality – who we are told, suffer the most from the effects of crystallisation.

Here is where the soul ruler of Pisces comes to the fore – Pluto the Destroyer, discovered between the World Wars – on the eve of the Holocaust. One is reminded of ghastly old photographs nearby the gas chambers – of belongings separated into huge piles: Shoes, suitcases, clothes, false teeth, hair, spectacles etc. – a dark metaphor for the baggage of centuries. The Holocaust was also said to be a karmic event from ancient times when the Israelites wreaked havoc upon others, in such battles as Amalek:

“When the first ray was in control and passing through one of its rare cycles of activity we read that they butchered and slaughtered all their enemies — men, women and children, putting them to the sword. The sword is ever the symbol of the first ray force just as the pen is of the second ray influence.15

It is ironic that the horror of the Holocaust (now being projected upon the Palestinians), occurred at the end of the Pluto-ruled Pisces Age – because we are told that the Jewish people did not pass through the experience of the Piscean Age:

“Christ came to bring to an end the Jewish dispensation which should have climaxed and passed away as a religion with the movement of the sun out of Aries into Pisces. He, therefore, presented Himself to them as their Messiah, manifesting through the Jewish race. In the rejection of the Christ as the Messiah, the Jewish race has remained symbolically and practically in the sign Aries, the Scapegoat; they have to pass—again speaking symbolically—into the sign, Pisces, the Fishes, and recognise their Messiah when He comes again in the sign Aquarius.

Otherwise, they will repeat their ancient sin of non-response to the evolutionary process. They rejected that which was new and spiritual in the desert; they did it again in Palestine two thousand years ago; will they do it again, as opportunity is offered to them? The difficulty with the Jew is that he remains satisfied with the religion of nearly five thousand years ago and shows as yet little desire to change.”16

The religion of 5,000 years ago was during the Age of Taurus, where the people fell down and worshipped the golden calf:

“What was the sin of the Children of Israel in the desert but a reversion to the old Mithraic worship which distinguished the time when the sun was “in the sign of Taurus, the Bull,” as it is technically called.

They fell down and worshipped the golden calf and forgot the new teaching of the age of Aries, the Ram, into which they were entering, the teaching of the Scapegoat which colours Jewish history.”17

In fact, the horoscope for modern Israel is a Taurus sun, symbolising an adherance to the past – and ancient habits of the theft of territory. The polarity of Taurus is Scorpio, a sign well known for ruthlessness and revenge – the Old Testament, “eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth” – so obvious in Israel’s current pathological behaviour.

So the question stands – will Israel, on “behalf” of the Jewish people, repeat the patterns of the past? Will Israel/the Jews-as-a-whole – reject the Christ as Messiah when He soon returns? Will they stay stuck in the sign of Aries the Scapegoat – or still be satisfied with an outdated religion?

Israel’s Horoscope
Israel’s horoscope has recently has two major cycles that reflect its ongoing insecurity about territory and the homeland.

1. Transiting Saturn in Pisces square prog. Venus in Gemini. (Now and until Feb. 2026)

Saturn

Venus is the ruler of Israel’s Taurus sun, a sign that can be over-preoccupied with territory, an ongoing issue since the Nakba of 1948. (e.g. Recent incursions into Syrian territory and the plan for a “Greater Israel”.)

Progressed Venus has been in Gemini for many years through to 2028. Gemini the Twins is arguably Israel and Palestine, the “warring brothers” of Gemini – Israel’s split personality. Saturn is the lord of karma, placed in Pisces, the sign of compassionate awareness, sacrifice and forgiveness.

The challenge of this square pattern is obvious, the processes that must take place in order to truly effect peace in the region. Otherwise Israel will destroy itself – as many observers state is already a long way down that road.

The Israel experiment might be falling apart and the world may be witnessing this train crash in slow motion. Millions are most likely asking now – how can Israel come back from decades of despicable actions toward the Palestinians, particularly in the last two years? This may be the last straw that breaks the proverbial camel’s back. Protestations that “Israel has a right to defend itself” ring very hollow now – in the face of ongoing aggression against civilians.

2. Progressed Sun conjunct the Moon in Leo. The moon in this position is the “Lion of Judah” and all the mythological baggage that goes with it. Esoterically, the moon is the dweller or shadow. The progressed Sun is currently shining its very bright Leonine light upon the moon, exact by early Dec. 2026. Will the sun burn through the illusion of the Dweller?

The progressed Moon is in a progressed balsamic phase – like the monthly cycle but only on a 27-year scale. The moon is also related to territory, security and home, placed in the Virgoan 6^th house of health, healing and service.

The balsamic moon phase is like trying to navigate out of a pitch black labyrinth – with no guiding light, compounding existing fears and insecurity, driving Israel forward in continuous, compensating acts of aggression. Hence its symbolism at the moment is most apt for where Israel is psychologically.

And recent acts have been heinous – a massacre almost every other day, the deliberate murder of Al Jazeera journalists – adding to a tally of over 300, the murder of the Yemeni prime minister and a large part of his cabinet (all civilians), the deliberate starvation of Palestinians – shooting them as they run to the food stations etc. The cruelty is unspeakable, the nation is behaving like a possessed zombie.

This list is incomplete of course, much more space would be needed to recount the horrors, the long list of broken international laws and transgressions against Humanity. Forgive them said the Nazarene, for they know not what they do. If they do know what they do – then there is evil, pure and simple.

The argument for Israel as a “failed state” looks feasible during this cycle. Yet thousands if not millions of world Jewry – some of the other global 54%, may find it encumbent upon them to participate in the rescue of their own people, with the assistance of the world Gentile population – as discussed previously.

And the signs are promising, with many Jews speaking out against Israel, including well-known independent journalists, historians, academics, ex PM’s and commentators. There is a long tradition among prominent Jewish figures opposing the Israeli state, who found themselves, like Isaac Asimov, “in the odd position of not being a Zionist”.

Sigmund Freud: “I concede with sorrow that the baseless fanaticism of our people is in part to be blamed for the awakening of Arab distrust. I can raise no sympathy at all for the misdirected piety which transforms a piece of a Herodian wall into a national relic, thereby offending the feelings of the natives.”

Albert Einstein: “The (Israeli) state idea is not according to my heart. I cannot understand why it is needed. It is connected with many difficulties and a narrow-mindedness. I believe it is bad.”

Erich Fromm, social psychologist: “The claim of the Jews to the Land of Israel cannot be a realistic political claim. If all nations would suddenly claim territories in which their forefathers lived two thousand years ago, this world would be a madhouse.”

Primo Levi, writer and Auschwitz survivor: “Everyone has their Jews. For the Israelis they are the Palestinians.”

Marek Edelman, last surviving leader of the 1943 Warsaw uprising: Edelman wrote a letter in support of the Palestine resistance, comparing them to ZOB, the Jewish fighters in Warsaw. He opened with, “Commanders of the Palestine military, paramilitary and partisan operations – to all the soldiers of the Palestine fighting organisations.”

Isaac Asimov, novelist: “I find myself in the odd position of not being a Zionist … I think it is wrong for anyone to feel that there is anything special about any one heritage of whatever kind. It is delightful to have the human heritage exist in a thousand varieties, for it makes for greater interest, but as soon as one variety is thought to be more important than another, the groundwork is laid for destroying them all.”

Hannah Arendt

Hannah Arendt, political scientist: “The trouble is that Zionism has often thought and said that the evil of antisemitism was necessary for the good of the Jewish people. In the words of a well-known Zionist in a letter to me discussing the original Zionist argumentation: ‘The antisemites want to get rid of the Jews, the Jewish State wants to receive them, a perfect match.’ “

I.F. Stone, US journalist: “Israel is creating a kind of moral schizophrenia in world Jewry. In the outside world the welfare of Jewry depends on the maintenance of secular, non-racial, pluralistic societies. In Israel, Jewry finds itself defending a society in which mixed marriages cannot be legalized, in which the ideal is racial and exclusionist.”

Noam Chomsky: “In the Occupied Territories, what Israel is doing is much worse than apartheid. To call it apartheid is a gift to Israel, at least if by “apartheid” you mean South African-style apartheid. What’s happening in the Occupied Territories is much worse.”

Gabriel Kolko, one of the leading historians on modern warfare: “The large majority of Israelis are not in the least Jewish in the cultural sense, are scarcely socialist in any sense, and daily life and the way people live is no different in Israel than it is in Chicago or Amsterdam. There is simply no rational reason that justifies the state’s creation.”

Miriam Margoyles

Miriam Margolyes, actor: “The black South Africans asked for our support and now it’s the Palestinians who are asking for our support. I hate what Israel is doing over there to the Palestinians. I think that boycotting is a very active and non-violent way of protesting.”

Uri Avnery, ex-Israeli army officer: Avnery wrote that after an Israeli military victory, “What will be seared into the consciousness of the world will be the image of Israel as a blood-stained monster, ready at any moment to commit war crimes and not prepared to abide by any moral restraints.”

Henry Siegman, Rabbi and director of the U.S./Middle East Project:
“Israel has crossed the threshold from ‘the only democracy in the Middle East’ to the only apartheid regime in the Western world.”

Richard Cohen, US columnist: “The greatest mistake Israel could make at the moment is to forget that Israel itself is a mistake … the idea of creating a nation of European Jews in an area of Arab Muslims (and some Christians) has produced a century of warfare and terrorism of the sort we are seeing now. Israel fights Hezbollah in the north and Hamas in the south, but its most formidable enemy is history itself.”

Roseanne Barr, US comedian, writer, director, presidential candidate: “I am sick of Israel and I am sick of Zionists. They are propped up by evangelical Christians who cannot wait for the Arabs to kill them so that their genocidal war god whom they misname Jesus can come back.”

Rabbi Lerner

Rabbi Michael Lerner, editor of Tikkun Magazine: “If a Jew today goes into any synagogue in the U.S. or around the world and says, ‘I don’t believe in God or Torah and I don’t follow the commandments,’ most will still welcome you in and urge you to become involved. But say, ‘I don’t support the State of Israel,’ and you are likely to be labeled a ‘self-hating Jew’ or anti-Semite, scorned and dismissed.”

Richard Falk, the former UN special rapporteur on human rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territories: Falk has called Israeli policies in the Occupied Territories “a crime against humanity.” Falk also has compared Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians to the Nazi treatment of the Jews. Falk has said, “I think the Palestinians stand out as the most victimized people in the world.”18

Ilan Pappe: Israeli historian and political scientist, known for his work on the Israeli–Palestinian conflict and as a leading figure among Israel’s New Historians. See 3’ video, ‘This is the last phase of Zionism’.

Ehud Olmert: Israel’s former Prime Minister says the relentless assault on the Palestinian people amounts to “war crimes” and must be stopped.

However, despite these historical and contemporary Jewish individuals – and due to decades of Zionist brainwashing, an average 73% of Israeli’s share the following three viewpoints:

Support a War-Ending Hostage Deal: 74% of Israelis support ending the war in exchange for the release of all remaining hostages.

Public Perception of Palestinian Suffering: Despite the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza, a May 2025 survey found that 64.5% of the Israeli public was not at all, or not very concerned about the situation.

Support for Expulsion and Violence: A separate March 2025 poll found that 82% of Israeli Jews support the forced expulsion of Palestinians from Gaza, and 47% support the Israeli army killing all Palestinians in the enclave.”20

Greece and Australia have exactly the same zodiac signs as the Jewish People: Virgo soul, Capricorn personality.21 These are the only three entities on the planet to have this combination, so no wonder the strong support from both nations, although that is starting to shift. Capricorn can be somewhat conservative, arid and austere, it is generally not an emotional sign:

To its credit, Capricorn Spain was the first European nation to call out Israel – now joined by Ireland, Norway and Slovenia. As an Australian, the author sees Australia’s response as a nation cowed by the powerful Zionist lobby that infests the “lucky country”; and of course the USA who regard Australia as one of the “five eyes” security nations that include Canada, New Zealand and Britain.

Although the Greek government supports Israel, many Greeks do not – actively protesting against Israeli tourists that land at some of its ports, even in some cases, publicly expelling them from restaurants.

Ireland’s uncompromising and compassionate stance emerges from its Pisces personality, far more emotionally sensitive and passionate: Here is the Virgo polarity referred to earlier for the Jewish People and the planet – as a “healing balm”. (Ireland will also be the location of an advanced esoteric school upon the 2^nd ray, in the not too distant future: “A school for the more advanced grades, and for definite preparation for the mysteries will be started in Ireland at one of the magnetised spots there to be found.”)23

European Nations as a Whole
“European nations have shown divergent positions regarding Israel’s military actions in Gaza. Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Hungary [and Greece] have maintained steadfast support for Israel, emphasizing its right to self-defense [tired excuse!], with Germany being the largest European arms supplier to Israel, exporting approximately €326 million in military equipment in 2023 alone.

The United Kingdom and France initially expressed strong backing for Israel following the October 7 attacks, aligning closely with U.S. positions, although both have since shifted toward more critical stances, with France calling for sanctions against Israeli settlers and warning of tougher measures if humanitarian conditions do not improve.

In contrast, Spain, Ireland, Norway, and Slovenia have taken a clearly critical position, suspending arms exports to Israel, formally recognizing the State of Palestine in June 2024, and supporting legal actions at the International Court of Justice. These countries, joined later by France and Italy, have condemned Israel’s blockade of Gaza and its humanitarian consequences, with Spain describing the situation as “genocide” and calling for accountability at the ICC.

Public opinion in Western Europe also reflects this divide, with net favourability toward Israel reaching historic lows in France, Germany, Spain, and Italy, and majorities in these countries believing Israel has gone too far in its military response.”24

Virgo Soul Portugal: Tragedy in Lisbon
Having lived in Portugal for several years and studied its history, the author has speculated that it is a Virgo soul with a Pisces personality. This, in contradistinction to Portuguese astrologers such as the late Maria Flávia de Monsaraz, with whom I had the pleasure of meeting a few times. (The subject is discussed in detail in this article.)

If the author’s hypothesis is correct, Portugal shares the same combination of Virgo-Pisces with its fellow Celtic neighbour, Ireland – just a short step across the North Atlantic.

Regarding Israel, Portugal has been hitherto influenced unduly by the European Union but is soon to make ground-breaking decisions in September (Virgo) – about formally recognising the State of Palestine, based upon the humanitarian crisis in Gaza – and the increasing European and international support for Palestinian statehood.

Streetcar Crash in Lisbon
On Sept. 3, Lisbon’s funicular railway “Elevador da Glória” crashed, resulting in the deaths of 16 people with 21 injured. Similar to other European countries like Italy and Spain, Portugal has endured an influx of tourists to the point where it is making a significant impact upon the quality of life for local Lisboners: Noise, traffic congestion, escalating rents, Air B&B monopolies etc.

Residents of famous cities in Italy and Spain have been making increasing public protests – telling tourists “go home” or “we do not want you here”. So Portugal, while enjoying tourism economic benefits, may be heading in the same direction.

Hence, this tragedy may be a wake-up call for Portugal to not sell its soul to commercial interests – instigated by itself and outside. Or has that already happened beyond the point of no return? (Feedback welcome in the comments section below, especially from Portuguese!)

If the “Carnation Revolution” horoscope of 1974 is consulted, there are some significant transits. (Also in the 1128 AD chart.) As a proposed Virgo soul, this horoscope has most appropriately Virgo rising.

Portugal

Saturn the reaper.

Currently, transiting Saturn in Pisces has been opposing this ascendant since early May 2025, now passing back over the descendant in the second and third weeks of September, with its third and final pass in the last week of January 2026.

This four-month period of Saturn continuously opposing the Virgo ascendant/soul purpose, will no doubt provide plenty of time for sober reflection about the tourist problem. But also to consider the symbolism of outdated institutions – the Elevador da Glória first began running in 1885.

One of the problems of a Pisces personality is that it can easily be taken advantage, due to loose boundaries. There are numerous examples of this throughout Portugal. If Virgo is this nation’s soul purpose, then it migdevelop more discrimination about who it lets in – whether tourists, refugees or overseas business interests.

There has also been a selling-out of Portuguese institutions lately, for example 60% of Portugal’s banking system is controlled by foreign capital. Portugal is becoming very crowded, in 2024 there were 30 million tourists (!) in this 11 million-people nation – that is just 30% larger than the island of Tasmania.
