Libra, the Balance: Totalitarianism or Democracy?
“The moment that a point of balance is reached, the moment that those who stand for separateness and materialism, for totalitarianism or for any imposed regime (and consequently an evil unity), and those who stand for the freedom of the human soul, for the rights of the individual, for brotherhood and right human relations, are equal in force, in position and in influence, then the doors of the Hierarchy (symbolically speaking) will open, and the Christ with His disciples will come.

This balance has to reach a point upon mental levels; it has to be reached by those who can think, who can influence, and in whose hands lies the responsibility for what the masses below the mental level know and believe.

The unskilled labourer, the numerous people who never think, who are only young in the experience of incarnation, and the multitudes who evade thought even when they are capable of it, lie in the hands of two vast and dominant groups: the totalitarians and the democracies“.2

The phrase, “This balance has to reach a point upon mental levels” – is the key to Libra, a “mental” air sign ruled by three “mental” planets, esoterically speaking: Libra exoteric ruler Venus, ruler of the fifth ray of science; esoteric ruler Uranus, the planet of exoteric and esoteric science; and hierarchical ruler Saturn, ruler of the throat chakra, doorway to the mental body.

It is through the use of the judicial mind that Libra arrests the tipping of the scales, reaching a point of equi-libri-um where procrastination ceases and decision can be made. Libra is also prominent in the planetary horoscope3 during this transition period between the ages of Pisces and Aquarius. As Humanity becomes more mentally polarised, it is striving further to balance the pairs of opposites upon the mental plane.

The past 22 months has seen this balancing process reach a critical phase, as many nations have adopted a shocking totalitarianism that has over-ridden democracy – Israel, Lithuania, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, Canada, USA, New Zealand, Italy, France, Germany, Britain – and a steadily growing list of states and nations. The “rule of law” has been blatantly flouted through lack of constraints by corporate bodies that hold lawmakers in government on a leash – using the false narrative of a “pandemic” to mask their true intentions of control and suppression.

These entities have declared “open season” on Humanity – they have selfishly and illegally made up laws to suit their agendas; in doing so, they have created much karma, with which Libra the Law is intimately acquainted, through the exaltation of Saturn the Lord of Karma in this sign. Humanity has in effect, been ambushed, blind-sided by a selfish and very powerful minority who have activated long term plans, decades in the making – and imposed their will unfairly, unjustly and underhandedly. (Elucidated in the author’s last 22 months of newsletters.)

Here is the global Dweller on the Threshold, its dark shadow looming large and attempting to engulf the light of Humanity, whose soul is struggling to break free.

Justice and fairness are key principles of Libra, and if people cannot see what is currently going on in the world, then they may belong to, “the numerous people who never think, who are only young in the experience of incarnation”. Or, are the “multitudes who evade thought even when they are capable of it” – rendered brain-dead, unthinking and undiscerning fools – lulled into a stupor by the siren songs of fear and propaganda.

As discussed in other missives, it appears that a majority of the spiritual community have also been swept up in this tsunami enveloping Humanity – have they failed a major test for initiation? Have they succumbed to the “85% of semi-vitalised thoughtforms” that surrounds humanity?

Encouragingly, a steady growing groundswell of discontent is gaining momentum around the world, from the ordinary person on the street to highly intelligent professionals; they have all been affected by countless outrages at the hands of authoritarian governments, and are seeking to reclaim their power and democratic principles of freedom.

But we will not witness the majority of this silent rebellion on mainstream media (the revolution will not be televised!), because all of these stories have been marginalised, minimised, distorted, played-down or banned by the dominating media, video, television, newspaper and social networks. No discussion allowed by those vampiristic entities who have prevented any meaningful dialogue or discussion. Yet, sources of information from highly qualified people abound on various alternative platforms such as Telegram, Bitchute, Patreon, Odysee, Rumble etc.

Through the many groups now engaging in pushback, we witness the Libra scales in action, as one over-weighted scale of limitless power and money is starting to move, almost imperceptibly – pushed by the resistance of the opposite scale, the people who are demanding true democracy, challenging legal action, freedom of choice and protesting however they can.

A good example is South-West Airlines in the USA – the largest U.S. carrier. The White House pressed airlines to adopt vaccine mandates and Southwest recently announced its employees had until December 8, 2021, to get vaccinated or lose their jobs:

“The pilot’s union for Southwest Airlines responded to the mandate by filing suit and trying to block the action, but the pilots themselves are not waiting for court action to make clear where they stand. They have started using vacation and sick days and refusing to show up for work. Other employees have followed suit.

The entire airline has been brought to a standstill. The pushback began Friday when a grand total of 3 out of 35 employees showed up for work at the Jacksonville center. Almost every flight out of Orlando had to be canceled. Almost 50% of Southwest pilots remain unvaccinated.

There is no indication that any large numbers are moving to get the vaccine. As bad as things are, they are going to get a lot worse. Over the weekend Southwest canceled 1900 flights. As of the time this article was published it had already canceled 365 flights for Monday, and 600 more are “delayed.” Southwest Airlines is effectively shut down.”4

As more people make courageous sacrifices for their rights, before the imminent year of 2025 (when The Hierarchy meet in their Centennial Conclave with the Lord of the World) – will the scales tip to be “equal in force, position and  influence”, so that “the Christ with His disciples will come”? Or will it take another century for Humanity to get their act together?

One cannot stand back and watch from the sidelines as others fight for freedoms – this is a global battle for the Soul of Humanity. Already, many aspirants, disciples and “spiritual” groups have compromised themselves by not making a stand, falling into lockstep, meekly rolling over to imposed mandates (most of which are illegal and could be challenged), swept into the mass madness.

It is not an an easy thing to challenge authority, especially with the prospect of losing income, freedom of movement and even prosecution – the authorities know that and play upon this fact. Understandably, most want to avoid the conflict that would ensue – and ensure that their sources of income are not disrupted, such is the insidious nature of this wholesale extortion exacted upon Humanity.

We must seriously ask ourselves now – that looking back upon this period in several years time, quite possibly finding ourselves living under insufferable, stifling conditions (materially and spiritually) – will there be regret or guilt for not making a stand now, for staying silent or not questioning/challenging the narrative?

How long will it take for the proverbial penny to drop, or one’s pride to swallow – that lazy rationalisation of the current global situation may have been made – in order to comfortably acquire the illusion of short-term “freedoms”? Or, misdirected but well meaning, compliancy where choices made were, “in everyone’s best interests”, for the “greater good”? Utter rubbish – say many erudite and intuitive thinkers.

As has been stated by wise observers, The Hierarchy’s triumph over this planetary crisis is assured, it is up to Humanity how long it wants to drag out the agony of a willing enslavement – for a few years, a few centuries or even a millenium? The latter 1,000-year cycle would have ensued, had the Nazis succeeded in WWII. The fascism now is no different – same modus operandi – the stimulation of lying propaganda, fear, division, manipulation, regimentation, conformity, apartheid etc.

During this perilous and precarious period, will the earnest world disciple (who is part of the New Group of World Servers serving Hierarchy), take the steep and arduous route up to the mountaintop – or the wandering, circuitous route? The former might exclaim, “Better to die on your feet than live on your knees”!

The latter may say with some apathy and confusion, “whatever, que sera, its all meant to be, I do not know, I do not care, I just want to get on with my life.”

A life of what? Endless jabs for non-stop variants, increased personal surveillance, forced off cash onto digital, becoming part of the China-style social credit system, tighter controls on all personal liberties – surely that is a living death? These are not “conspiracy theories”, there is abundant evidence that all these plans are being implemented – should you care to dig!

Libra New Moon and Mars Oct.6
New moons are deeply subjective periods where seed ideas can be cultivated to bear fruit at the following full moon. The recent Libra new moon carried some potent forces with the potential to drive deep and lasting change. Libra the Scales suggests the law, justice and righting wrongs – balancing the scales. With retrograde Mercury in Libra already leading the charge, transiting Mars stepped into the fray, making an exact conjunction to the Sun-Moon position at the Libra new moon.

Mars the god of war in the sign of the peacemaker. Mars in Libra is said to be “temporarily quiescent” – like a soldier who finds himself in Libra no-mans-land, the neutral zone between two warring sides. Yet the dynamic driving force of Mars in Libra is powerful for bringing about justice and peace, as exemplified by two great Nobel Peace Prize laureates, former lawyer Nelson Mandela and H.H. the Dalai Lama.

In the last two years, so many laws have been flouted, broken and pushed through illegally by world governments in the late hours of parliament, or through long, obscure petitions online that most people miss – taking advantage of the global situation. The law has been ridden-over roughshod – so utterly and ruthlessly, that hardly any of FDR’s Four Freedoms remain: Freedom of speech, worship, from want and fear. Some nations and states are literally under siege to totalitarian and fascist forces – democracy has suffered a severe knockout blow and is “down for the count” – as they say in boxing.

Mars in Libra draws his sword of justice to cut through the many Gordian Knots that laws have become. Mars marches-in to fight for the underdog, exacting reparation – not revenge, that is the province of Mars in Scorpio. Mars invokes his lover Venus, ruler of Libra – to unite the pairs of opposites and all contradictions; to bring forward the truth from behind the veil of lies.

Mars also fires up the masses to protest against injustices (“may they stand with massed intent”), to exercise non-compliance and public disobedience to dictatorial edicts – particularly as Mars is in close quincunx aspect to revolutionary and reforming Uranus, the esoteric ruler of Libra.

Mercury is powerful in the new moon horoscope too, with an harmonious trine to Jupiter in Aquarius – carrying great eloquence and refinement of expression, on behalf of the greater group/community process. Jupiter as esoteric ruler of Aquarius, is truly the world server who pours forth generously “for those who thirst” – from the urn held upon the shoulders. May the tide turn once again toward justice and freedom in this current world crisis.

Mercury Retrograde in Libra
Mercury turned retrograde on Sept.27, going direct again on Oct.18, just before the Libra full moon festival on Oct.20; for two weeks after that, Mercury will still be in Libra in its “post direct” cycle, picking up speed in its daily motion – and hence can still feel like being retrograde for some! The emphasis during this several weeks period will be upon the Libran themes of balancing relationships that are not cohesive or harmonious – between individuals, groups and nations.

It will be a period that affords the opportunity to seek justice and reparation, apologies and forgiveness, a fair hearing, peace talks or reconciliation. As Libra’s three main themes are esoterically the Law, Sex and Money – all of these issues will be prominent.

Mercury is a planet of mediation in a sign of mediation – Libra the diplomat, conflict resolutionist and peacemaker. Money is one of Libra’s main themes and Mercury retro in this sign can bring about financial crises.

But the key factor here, is that Libra seeks to engage and work upon long term associations – personally through its ruler Venus, and more impersonally/group oriented through esoteric ruler Uranus. Libra is associated with rays 1, 3, 5, 7 that,

“Predispose the Libran subject to concrete understanding [5], to intelligent will [1] and to knowledge [5] … Hence the effectiveness of Libra upon the physical plane and the power of the developed Libran to project the inner spiritual purpose or intended will into physical expression.”5

Count Rákóczi of Hungary – the Master R. His previous incarnation was Sir Francis Bacon in the court of King James I, Britain.

Master Rákóczi and the Annual October Council Meditation
The following passage is mentioned in newsletters every year, because of its increasing importance related to the imminent Externalisation of the Hierarchy:

“Every October and every March, the Master R. gathers together His council of helpers, the Masters and the senior initiates in the Ashrams of the third, the fifth and the seventh rays. Though He is the Head of the third Ray of Aspect and is in control, therefore, of the two Rays of Attribute mentioned above, He does not Himself wield these forces, because He is One of the three Heads of the Hierarchy and His work cannot be confined to the activity of any one ray. He works through the Ashrams of these rays, but He Himself works primarily in cooperation with the Christ and the Manu.”6

March-October corresponds to Aries-Libra and it stands to reason that Master R would preside over these meetings – in his role as the Lord of Civilisation and the “regent” of Europe and America. Aries is the first impulse of the spiritual year, where the seeds of the annually modified Planetary Plan are sown. Polar-opposite sign Libra reveals how plentiful or not the harvest has been – whether the seeds, “fell on fertile or stony ground”.

This is why Libra is a sign intimately associated with karma – the consequences of thought/ideas sown in Aries, bear their bounty in Libra. Saturn, the lord of karma is exalted in Libra and rules Libra hierarchically.

Master R’s last earthly presence as St. Germain – in his role as “regent of Europe”.

Saturn also rules the third ray of active-intelligence – the only ray to pass through Libra –province of the third hierarchical department of The Mahachohan – another name for the Lord of Civilisation or Master R.

All the “rays of attribute” – 4, 5, 6, 7 – fall under the aegis of The Mahachohan. Within Hierarchical circles, Master R is known as “The Count”, alluding to his St. Germain “incarnation” immediately following Francis Rákóczi of Hungary – which led him to taking the “post” of Lord of Civilisation.

Previously as the fifth degree initiate Master R, he was the head of the seventh ray ashram. Hence He has a lot of experience in wielding these ray forces and working with nations in crisis. (For example, his work as Count St. Germain during the French Revolution.)

Since World War II, Master R’s work has been exceedingly difficult in bringing in the new Aquarian civilisation, working with the energy of the seventh ray of Order, Organisation or Ceremonial Magic. This ray is ruled by Uranus, which is also the soul ruler of Libra.

The seventh ray corresponds to the seventh physical plane, hence the, “power of the developed Libran to project the inner spiritual purpose or intended will into physical expression.”7 The following passage was written in the late 1940’s but may be even more appropriate today, as many “evil personalities” have once again taken control:

The Magician tarot card, invoking spirit with one hand, bringing it into matter with the other hand. This first card of the tarot corresponds to the first ray of will-power and the first sign Aries – that expresses both the first ray and seventh ray of Ceremonial Magic. What is invoked in Aries has its result or consequence in Libra.

“The entire rhythm of international thinking has to be altered, and that constitutes a slow and arduous task; the evil personalities which, in every country, are responsible for the chaos and uncertainty, have eventually to be replaced by those who can work in cooperation with the rhythm of the seventh ray, and thus produce ordered beauty … two elements in every land and nation: those people who hold on to the bad old things of the past, and those who work for the extreme opposite of this point of view and for that which is new.

Under the influence of this seventh ray energy, balance has to be brought about and preserved, so that the “noble middle way” [Libra] of right action and of right human relations [Libra] can be safely trodden.

The task of the Master R. is, however, lightened by the fact that the seventh ray is now coming into activity and its potency is increasing year by year. His task is also aided by the intelligent work done by the Ashram of the English Master Who works consistently with the awakening and the arising masses.”8

Indeed, the power of this new seventh ray cycle that began in 1945, is becoming stronger and is starting to overcome the outgoing sixth ray. As “the regent of Europe”, Master R has the responsibility of overseeing its development and unity, hence bringing into focus the esoteric triangle that exists between two major planetary centres – London and Geneva – plus the headquarters of the European Union – Brussels.

The English Master is behind the Labour movements and trade unions throughout the world. Today the power of the unions has been considerably eroded by big business and corporations. A recent shocking example was union members in Melbourne, Australia, denied their rights by state government vaccination policies – and by their very own union!

Suggested Meditation
Elsewhere, from the same book from which the above passage is quoted, The Tibetan refers to this October full moon period, suggesting a specific meditation:

“I would ask those of you who care to do so to meet together at the time of the Full Moon in October for fellowship, united meditation, consecration and consultation …. I would ask all of you who associate yourselves with me in the work of the future, each day to use the very brief meditation which I outline below.

It is dynamic, affirmative and—if rightly used—should link head and heart, leading thus to intelligent loving service, and it should also serve to bind you all together in the closest spiritual unity. This will aid in the vitalising of the etheric bodies of all workers, and therefore in a group vitality which will be irresistible.

Each morning, prior to starting the day’s activities, achieve an inner quiet, see the Self as the soul, place your self at the disposition of the soul, of humanity and of your group.

1. Then say silently and with full dynamic intent:

“At the centre of all love I stand; from that centre, I the soul will outward move; from that centre, I the one who serves will work. May the love of the divine Self be shed abroad in my heart, through my group and throughout the world.”

2. Then, focussing your attention and dedication, see the group to which you belong as a great centre of love and light, irradiating the world of men, bringing relief, light, love and healing in increasing measure.

3. Brood then upon the plan to be carried out and upon the indicated service for the coming day. Do this as the soul, keeping the personal lower self in a waiting attitude, like a servant attentive for instruction.

4. Then say:

“The joy of the divine Self is my strength.
The power of the spirit of man shall triumph.
The Forces of Light do control the forces of evil.
The work of the Great Ones must go on.
The Coming One is on the way. The Avatar approaches.
For this we must prepare.”

5. Close with a minute of dynamic quiet.”9

The author has been practicing this meditation, visualising associated groups (“the group to which you belong as a great centre of love and light”) – and found it very empowering. Hence, readers are urged to adopt it over the Libra full moon period; this may be one of the most critical full moon periods for the whole year, empowered by The Mahachohan (Master R), with His direction and manifestation of the Planetary Plan.

We live in extremely difficult times, the battle on the inner planes is intense and all of us are called to serve. We cannot allow ourselves to waiver, despite whatever personal challenges we face, we must all work and contribute in some way – like we have never done before. The following mantram is also suggested to use with the above meditation:

“I play my part with stern resolve, with earnest aspiration; I look above, I help below; I dream not, nor I rest; I toil; I serve; I reap; I pray; I am the Cross; I am the Way; I tread upon the work I do; I mount upon my slain self; I kill desire, and I strive, forgetting all reward. I forego peace; I forfeit rest, and in the stress of pain I lose myself and find Myself and enter into peace.”10

From the Tibetan, so appropriate for today:

“Many in the goodwill work and some few in the school interpreted this as political in import, presumably believing that a position of complete neutrality, where both good and evil are concerned, was demanded of spiritually inclined people. Such people fail to think clearly and confuse an unwillingness to take sides with brotherly love, forgetting the words of the Christ that “he who is not with me is against me.”

Let me repeat what I have oft said before. The Hierarchy and all its members, including myself, love humanity but they will not endorse evil, aggression, cruelty and the imprisoning of the human soul. They stand for liberty, for opportunity for all to move forward along the way of light, for human welfare without discrimination, for kindness and the right of every man to think for himself, to speak and to work. Necessarily they cannot, therefore, endorse the nations or the people in any nation who are against human freedom and happiness.”11

Facebook’s Oct. 4 Outage
This outage affected Facebook, Whatsapp and Instagram for about six hours, a very long period for these entities that host about 3.5 billion users – almost half the world’s population. If it was sabotage, it must have been a very sophisticated group who brought this about on such a powerful tech giant like Facebook. Or was it simply another blast of potent solar radiaton as indicated by Schumann Resonance measurements recently?

If this was part of what the WEF have been hinting about recently in their Cyber Polygon scenarios (major internet attacks/crashes), then this could be the beginning of planned, deliberate disruptions. Especially as Mercury will be retrograde for another few weeks. Facebook has come under increasing criticism over negative impacts of its policies upon children and, “how its platforms are used to spread hate, violence and misinformation, and is trying to hide that.”

Its ironic that Facebook has become the censor that will not allow discussion of many current events – particularly Covid or vaccines in which it is heavily invested, but cannot censor itself. One only has to look at their video feed to see the endless stream of mindless clips and violent games. Pluto’s conjunction to the midheaven in Sagittarius, is another factor related to them assuming control of the narrative.

This chart reflects the outage event, with several notable transits:

1. Mercury retrograde in Libra square Sun-Chiron in Capricorn. This is a classic Mercury retro transit that typically affects communications. Mercury returns in the last few days of Oct. to make its final square to Facebook’s draconian Capricorn sun. Let us remember to observe this date!

2. Transiting Venus in Scorpio square Venus in Aquarius. Transiting Venus in the ninth house of foreign nations, might indicate an attack from a foreign power. Scorpio is a sign of subterfuge, whilst Venus in Aquarius is all about science and technology. Transiting Jupiter in Aquarius has also been activating Venus in Aquarius on and off for some months, with its final hit in early December 2021.

3. Transiting Saturn conjunct progressed sun in Aquarius. Saturn the lord of karma, has been hovering around this point on and off for 2021, making its last pass by the end of Nov. It appears Facebook is going through a karmic reckoning at the moment, via progressed sun aspected by Saturn and its natal sun squared by Mercury.

Venus in Scorpio: Spiritual Intuition or Pure Reason
Venus is the exoteric ruler of Libra, presiding over this sign’s traditional themes of love, sex, relationships, beauty and art. But Venus is also the ruler of the fifth ray of science or knowledge, contributing to Libra’s “mental” polarisation and practicality.

Venus has recently finished its passage through Scorpio and moved into Sagittarius. Venus functions very powerfully in Scorpio and is worth considering its esoteric implications – especially as it cycles around through the signs quickly – every 225 days.

Venus is regarded as Earth’s “sister planet” or “higher self”, hence its importance as a powerful guiding influence over Humanity. The following passage about Venus in Scorpio – esoterically considered, requires some explanation:

Understanding the planes and subplanes, the various gradations of matter, from the coarsest to the most refined, constitutes one of the ABC’s of occultism.

“Venus, the intelligent mind, has its power lessened in this sign because the intellect—having been developed and used—must now be subordinated to a higher power of the soul, the spiritual intuition. The Son of Mind, the solar Angel, must now manifest as a Son of God.

This solar Angel, when in control, must give place eventually to the Presence. This it has hitherto veiled or hidden. Venus must wane and the Sun—as a symbol of Deity—must wax in influence and finally take its place. Such are the symbolic and esoteric significances.”12

Venus is the ruler and transmitter of the fifth ray of science or knowledge and harmonises the pairs of opposites upon the mental plane, creating harmony and beauty. That harmonisation precipitates onto the astral plane – where Venus is more commonly known as the goddess of love, sex and relationships.

“The Son of Mind, the solar Angel” is the human soul whose “causal body” resides on the three upper sublanes of the mental plane. Just as the human personality in any given incarnation is the vehicle for the soul’s expression, so the soul is utilised by the Monad – the highest essential expression of who we are.

The monad is also known as the Presence – mentioned in the above passage, and to which the soul must “eventually give place to”. This finally occurs at the exalted fourth initiation, also called Liberation, Crucifixion or the Great Renunciation – taken by the likes of Jesus, Yogananda, Ramana Maharshi etc.

The fourth degree initiation corresponds to the fourth plane of intuition or buddhi, whose more finely attenuated frequencies reside beyond the mental plane. This buddhic realm is the spiritual goal for Humanity, that is gradually expanding mental awareness and intuition, over many lifetimes.

Therefore, Venus in Scorpio in the natal chart or by transit, brings opportunity to develop greater intuition – the sixth sense that lays beyond the five finite senses – the “common sense”. Intuition is direct knowledge and buddhi is the realm of a Buddha. The fourth plane of perception has a connection to the fourth ray of Harmony through Conflict, the main ray conditioning all of Humanity – also known as the ray of art, beauty and music. The fourth ray is the only ray to pass through Scorpio.

Hence Venus in Scorpio is extraordinarily stimulating for higher creativity, the opposite of procreative activity – for which Scorpio is well known. Think seductive femme-fatale Sharon Stone and the ogling men in the film, Basic Instinct! (Stone has Jupiter-Neptune in Scorpio – a true “screen siren”.) Scorpio rules the organs of reproduction and elimination – the great cosmic mystery of sex. Yet, Venus-ruled Libra might be more deeply related to sex:

“Esoterically, however, it is in Libra that the whole question comes up and will increasingly come up for answering, and it is in Libra that the balancing of the pairs of opposites must take place and reach solution through the activity of the judicial mind and the establishing of a point of equilibrium between the male and the female principles.”13 (Readers may find of interest two newsletters for Libra and Scorpio 2017, Sex and Relationships Part 1 & 2.)

The last part of the quote about Venus in Scorpio is deeply esoteric and inscrutable: “Venus must wane and the Sun—as a symbol of Deity—must wax in influence and finally take its place.” In Esoteric Astrology, the sun is said to “veil” Neptune – regarded as the primary planet of intuition or buddhi, hence the “god of the waters” has an indirect influence upon this watery sign Scorpio. Scorpio is a sign of testing and trials for the second initiation, where the astral “waters” are demonstrated to be under control by the disciple on the Path.

Mercury is the other main planet of intuition, is the co-ruler of the fourth ray (the only ray to pass through Scorpio) – and  hierarchical ruler of Scorpio. Mercury and the Sun are also regarded as “one” esoterically, hence the passage above may be hinting at this relationship. These are just a few speculations that can be reflected upon by the deep student!

And finally as an aside, Venus is the brightest planet in the night sky, having a close relationship to the brightest star, Sirius – the source of “logoic mind”. Venus was “responsible for the coming of mind to the Earth” at human “individualisation” in ancient Lemurian times.

A triangle was formed between Venus, Mercury and the Earth – which set up a magnetic field, creating an opportunity for “intervention” by the Great White Lodge on Sirius. Hence, there is a close relationship between Venus and Sirius, the former the “higher self” to Earth, the latter – higher self to our solar system:

“Scorpio is under the influence or inflowing energy of Sirius … Scorpio influences the turning point both in the life of humanity and the life of the individual human being … For the first time in the history of both mankind and disciples, the energy of Sirius … evokes a response.”14

Libra Rising Russel Brand

Russell Brand is an excellent example of sun in Gemini – a disseminator of knowledge and wisdom, someone who engages in constant communication. It has been interesting to observe Brand’s spiritual unfoldment over the years, maturing into an erudite media host for an array of thinkers in diverse fields.

This is the skill of Gemini, to gather disparate threads and blend them into a deeper synthesised knowledge, creating unity between the “warring brothers” of Gemini – indeed, transcending their inherent dualism altogether. That is why the author has dubbed Gemini the “busy bee”, gathering pollen from many flowers and returning to the hive – a rich metaphor for the generation of the “nectar of understanding”. As noted in an earlier missive,

“Brand has Gemini ruler Mercury also in Gemini, so he speaks with great rapidity, as his clearly enunciated thoughts pour forth in a sparkling torrent. He is also equipped with a broad vocabulary, understanding the power of the word – he woos with words, in his personal and public relationships.”15

Gemini is about the dialogue between the Twins, whether it is the interviewer and the interviewee, the lower and higher selves, or the pairs of opposites upon the mental plane. Libra rising however, is Brand’s soul purpose – and he expresses this by consistently advancing reasonable and balanced arguments, seeking to stay engaged with a broad audience. Sometimes he might be “too reasonable” and forgiving, where there might be the need to go in harder – reflected by his Aries polarity.

This is a good example of the restraint of Libra the peacemaker – versus Aries the god of war. Aries is a very strong counter-balance to Brand’s Libra, with Moon, Mars, Jupiter and Chiron in Aries! The Aries planets all inhabit Brand’s seventh house of relationships and marriage, reflecting his more youthful phase of many lovers and the theme of Aries “scattering his seed” or “sowing his oats”.

Now that Brand is married and a father, the focus is more about the examination of seed ideas, their nurturement and growth – the latter particularly well expressed through the position of Saturn and Venus in Cancer. Brand’s wide popularity from comedy, celebrity and movies, carrying plenty of handsome Libra charisma – attracts others, not unlike bees to his flower – in fact millions of “bees” or followers who are influenced by different perspectives regarding human and planetary issues.

Brand’s Libra rising charm is also enhanced by the position of Pluto closely conjunct his ascendant, part of his Pluto-rules-Scorpio “smouldering” sex appeal, but also a brooding nature that dives deeply into global issues. Libra is all about justice and fairness, themes that seem to motivate Brand to discuss a variety of themes in his videos – such as this recent one.

London is ruled by Libra at the personality level, reflecting Westminster and the laws passed there, as well as a global finance capital. Brand is based in this city, hence the Libran synastry is strong. Likewise, his Gemini personality is in-sync with the Gemini soul of Britain.

Uranus as esoteric ruler of his Libra ascendant is placed in its own sign Libra, opposite Chiron in Aries – both T-square to Venus in Cancer. Here are the two rulers of Libra rising – in dynamic square to one another: Uranus the planet of exoteric and esoteric science and Venus the ruler of the fifth ray of science.

This pattern represents a blending of opposites upon the mental plane – Brand’s curious Gemini nature (esoterically ruled by Venus), is always exploring science with his various interviewees. When Venus in Cancer is considered,

“The power of Venus in this sign [Cancer] tends to make the mind the servant of the personality and this is aided by the forces of the third Ray of Active Intelligence. Thus the stage is set for the appearance of the soul in form.”16

The third ray of active-intelligence may or may not be in Brand’s ray structure, but it certainly can be invoked through Libra, Cancer and Gemini – the third zodiac sign that has many similarities to the third ray. When the Chiron-in-Aries part of the T-square is considered, especially with its conjunction to broad-ranging Jupiter in Aries – here is Brand the Aries explorer of new ideas that are constantly precipitating into human consciousness. Returning to Uranus, the esoteric ruler of Brand’s Libra ascendant soul purpose, there are some notable Uranian trends unfolding in his life, such as:

1. Working with larger groups of individuals, even assuming the responsibility of group facilitator/leader.
2. A steadily increasing rebellion and activism against criminal corporate activities, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry. (For this he has been inaccurately characterised as pandering to right-wing politics, which is totally untrue.)
3. Bringing in new innovative and creative ideas, encouraging others to do same, to be independent thinkers.

The Forces Behind Earthquakes
The recent earthquake in the Australian state of Victoria rattled and damaged buildings as far away as Melbourne, occurring at an ominous time – in the middle of Victoria’s notorious draconian lockdowns and aggressive policing. Uranus and Venus have been noted by astrological researchers as being prominent in earthquakes. In this event horoscope, transiting Venus in Scorpio is opposite Uranus, making a T-square to the midheaven.

Also, planets leaving a mutable sign, such as void of course moon in Gemini, are another signature. In this event, the Sun is in the last degree of mutable Virgo – just before the full moon, when the moon was in the last degree of mutable Pisces. The moon is well-known for its gravitational influence upon the tides and the earth – but there are also other influences at work:

“Some of the available inflowing Shamballa forces are being absorbed directly by humanity and by certain of the subhuman kingdoms, particularly the mineral kingdom. This latter absorption will lead eventually, when complete, to those volcanic episodes and those basic earthquakes which will change the face of the earth by the time the sixth rootrace comes into manifestation.

It is this direct inflow to the kingdoms functioning exoterically in the three worlds which has relieved and will to some extent relieve the otherwise overpowering pressure upon the Hierarchy, and will also act as a great aligning antahkarana between the three planetary centres. It is to this alignment I refer in this instruction—the alignment of the three centres upon this planet and the adjustments that this necessitates and inevitably enforces.”17

The three main centres: Shamballa, Hierarchy and Humanity. The NGWS is the fourth mediating principle between Hierarchy and Humanity.

The Shamballa force has only recently been allowed to flow direct to Humanity, a calculated risk taken by the Hierarchy in order to hasten the Planetary Plan – hitherto “shielding” Humanity from the super-refined potency of Shamballa.

2025: A Sixth Shamballa Impact?
A co-worker recently speculated that the 2025 Centennial Conclave may coincide with another Shamballa impact – a deliberate release of the Shamballa forces by the Lord of the World into the planetary aura. This is a strong possibility, given that the last three impacts were in 1945, 1975 and 2000.

Another 25-year increment is not unreasonable to speculate, especially as it comes at the midway point between the Masters’ Decision initiations taken every 49 years: The last one was in 2001 just a few weeks after 9/11 and the next one will be in 2050.

This co-worker also noted intuitively how 2025 is like a full moon period that Humanity is heading toward, hence the monthly three day “approach” to a full moon, can be extrapolated to a three year approach, that starts in 2022. We are almost, and for all intents and purposes, already in that period – that also coincides with USA’s first ever 248-year Pluto return.

Other forces that contribute to seismic activity have their origin at the North Pole:

“One such centre is to be found at the North Pole, and two more are located within the planetary sphere, and frequently the inflow of force or energy to these internal centres (via the polar centre) results in those disasters we call earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions.18

The north pole is likened to the crown chakra – where forces flow in and emanate back out at the south pole. The magnetic forces that function here are responsible for the aurora borealis and, the author has speculated – where the zodiac signs have a concentrated anchoring or distribution point. H.P. Blavatsky further elucidates:

“Occult teaching corroborates the popular tradition which asserts the existence of a fountain of life in the bowels of the earth and in the North Pole. It is the blood of the earth, the electro-magnetic current, which circulates through all the arteries; and which is said to be found stored in the “navel” of the earth. [Fohat]”19

Still other factors affecting seismic activity that will increase in the next few centuries,

“… the electrical phenomenon which finds its expression in the light which man has somewhat harnessed, in the phenomena such as thunder storms and the manifestation of lightning, with the aurora borealis, and in the production of earthquakes and all volcanic action.

All these manifestations are based on electrical activity of some kind, and have to do with the “soul of things,” or with the essence of matter.”20

Likewise, a drifting of the north magnetic pole, already well documented, may be caused by,

“A shift in the Earth’s polarity, due to the pull of a great cosmic centre. This powerfully affects the Earth’s orientation and is responsible for the present earthquakes, and for the volcanic eruptions and the many earthquakes during the past one hundred and fifty years.”21

“The decisive manifestations will occur in the battle of Uranus with Saturn.”

Like Saturn, Uranus has rings but much less.

Transiting Saturn and Uranus have been locked in a cosmic square-dance since Jan.2021 – and will continue through to Oct.2022. This short piece is a reminder-riff on a theme (covered in a recent newsletter article), but in the context of a quotation from the Agni Yoga book series by Helena Roerich.

Broadly speaking, Saturn represents the old institutions and thoughtforms – the status quo, whilst reforming Uranus is bringing in new ideas and ways of being; their intense struggle is perfectly mirrored by what is happening today:

“Magnetic needles quiver in changing direction. High tides are the natural result of a change in the direction of the Magnet [our Sun]. The Spatial Fire strains its magnetism and the subterranean fire is ready to break through.

Hence, the workings of cosmic forces are most intensive. The decisive manifestations will occur in the battle of Uranus with Saturn. Therefore, although many currents are difficult, they are of much benefit.”22

The “subterranean fire” is certainly breaking through in many volcanic eruptions around the planet, most recently on La Palma, part of the Spanish territory of the Canary Islands. These are just some of the forces “closer to home” that are heavily augmented by,

“1. A welling up of magnetic force on Sirius. 2. Shift in the Earth’s polarity, due to the pull of a great cosmic centre. 3. The great sweep of the sun around the greater zodiac – a period of 250,000 years. 4. The passing of our Sun out of the sign Pisces into the sign Aquarius.”23

Aquarian Wisdom Centre Retreat in Portugal
I am pleased to announce the launch of the website https://aquarianwisdomportugal.org, introducing the Aquarian Wisdom Centre Retreat. This project has been in the pipeline for a few years and is now a legally constituted non-profit association – set up for the sole purpose of meditation, esoteric education, and community living – in the true spirit of Aquarius!

This proposed centre in Portugal will be a facility available for every serious student of the wisdom – from any nation, who can contribute to its development and expansion. The manifestation of the centre will come about through a donation fund. Why this country?

“Workers increasingly will be drawn to Great Britain and to the continent of Europe. From the United States of America the teaching must go out. But Europe is the field for the education of the world in the ideas of a true world unity and for the wise presentation of the Plan, from that continent can the inspiration go forth to the East and the West”.24

Through the author’s extensive teaching travels and explorations around Europe, there has long been recognised a need for an Ageless Wisdom centre that functions under one universal language – English. There are several excellent centres in Europe but they are all bound by local languages – such as Italian, French, German, Swedish etc.

Hence, in establishing a centre such as this – in easily accessible, English-friendly and beautiful Portugal, it has the potential to not only become a centre for European nations, but a global hub – open to all English-speaking students and teachers.
