Sagittarius, BBC & Propaganda: Bending the Truth
The main theme of Sagittarius is seeking the highest knowledge that reflects universal truths. Hence, Sagittarius’ rulership over religion, philosophy and tertiary education. As above, so below is the axiom. But earthly truths are another matter – one person’s truth might be another’s lie!
In our modern era, lying has become so routine – particularly in politics and business, that people do not realise how deeply they are immersed in the universal web of lies and deceit. This is a problem that has been covered in many newsletters. (See, Gemini and the Culture of Lies in the Kali Yuga.)
Back in 2016, the BBC helped to oust Jeremy Corbyn from the Labour leadership.
Note that Gemini is the polar opposite of Sagittarius – symbolising very broadly – lies and truth respectively. The reason is that exoteric Gemini concerns the lower mind and its devious, separative nature.
Though Sagittarius is essentially the more inclusive higher mind, its lower expression through exoteric ruler Jupiter tends to “spin a colourful yarn”, to amplify out of context, hence “exaggitarius”.
Esoterically however, Gemini is adept in right speech, intuition and communication, transcending the duality of the Twins through its esoteric ruler Venus.
The USA is a Gemini personality expressing a high degree of routine lying, refelected in its 1776 horoscope – with Mars in Gemini. Similarly Britain, although a Gemini soul, is still guilty of “secret and oft devious diplomacy and subtlety”. Which brings us to Britain’s BBC and the resignation of some of its top directors:
“Last year, a report compiled by researchers led by British-Israeli lawyer Trevor Asserson included AI in analyzing the first four months of the broadcaster’s coverage of the war in Gaza. It suggested that the BBC breached its own editorial guidelines more than 1,500 times during that critical phase of the conflict.
The report also found that, in the corporation’s coverage of the conflict, Israel was associated with genocide more than 14 times more than Hamas.”2
There are many examples of BBC bias over past decades – which most mainstream media organisations are guilty, hence the importance of seeking alternative sources.
“The BBC documentary — titled “Trump: A Second Chance?” — spliced together three quotes from a speech Trump gave on Jan. 6, 2021, into what appeared to be one quote in which Trump urged supporters to march with him and “fight like hell.””
Themes here include the Jimmy Savile case, the coronavirus propaganda campaign (2020-23), anti-Russian – and one recent revelation that the BBC misleadingly edited a Trump speech (Sun in Gemini, Moon in Sagittarius), prompting resignations.
But of course, the BBC is an evolving entity composed of imperfect humans, like any other entity such as the United Nations or Britain itself. But the BBC is now over a century old, hence suffers from the crystallising effects of old age.
The BBC (like Australia’s “aunty” ABC), was a much beloved cultural icon for a century – through radio and television broadcasting that brought many high quality programs to the public. But, like other institutions in the past few decades, it has become prey to market and political forces that have distorted its original mission.
BBC Horoscopes
The BBC has two horoscopes, one for 1922 and the other for 1927 when BBC “company” became the BBC “corporation” – in ye olde realm of radio and print media. Both charts have Sagittarius influence:
1922 – Sun in Libra (“fair and balanced”?) with Venus ruler in Sagittarius, square to Libra esoteric ruler Uranus in Pisces.

BBC’s Transits and Progressions
The 1922 midday chart is Sagittarius rising, square to the Moon in Virgo, challenging to discriminate details within the bigger picture, an essential part of news-gathering.
Alternatively, British Bull Crap!
In 2025, transiting Saturn-Neptune in Pisces have been (and still are) opposing the Moon in Virgo – activating the natal square, encouraging responsibility and accountability.
Progressed Venus is approaching the Sagittarius ascendant, and in the past 2.5 years, the progressed Moon has been in Gemini! Hence the capacity to fall into biased reporting or outright lies.
Similarly – in the 1927 chart, transiting Saturn-Neptune have been conjunct Uranus in Pisces, activating the natal square to Mercury in Sagittarius – “a clash between conventional thinking and unconventional ideas, leading to potential misunderstandings”.
Perhaps emboldended by the BBC being caught out, President Trump is now making an all-out attack on media misreporting: White House launches website to excoriate media for ‘biased’ stories.
Another example of blatant mis-reporting is ABC (USA), who commented on President Putin’s recent press conference in Kyrgyzstan: “Russia ready to fight to the last Ukrainian”. In the context of a much broader speech, Putin actually said,
“And then there are others, those who still continue to believe that Kupansk is somehow back under Ukrainian control and who insist on continuing the fighting until the last Ukrainian is killed.” Which essentially means “we don’t want this, but we have to be prepared for this possibility. We have to be prepared for the fact”.
Russia-Ukraine and the European Union: Illusory Ideologies
“Where there is a real grasp of the whole idea (a rare thing indeed) there can be no illusion … Where there is illusion and a vague interpretive reaction to an idea, we find emerging fanatics, vague idealists, sadistic enforcers of the idea as grasped, one-pointed and narrow men and women, seeking to express their interpretation …
… It is one of the factors which has brought our modern world to its sorry pass, and it is from this misuse of the divine faculty of touching the idea and transforming it into the ideal, that the world is today suffering …

It is so important to absorb, reflect and understand this previous statement, in light of a deliberately cultivated Russiaphobia which continues to undermine good relations from European leaders who want to modify Washington’s 28-point peace plan – which they know will be totally unacceptable to the Russians. (Kiev reduced it to 19 points.)
Leaders – Starmer (Britain), Macron (France), Merz (Germany) and Tusk (Poland) – are all unpopular in their own countries, and yet are leading the charge to raise an impossible €155 billion to feed into the insatiable black hole known as Ukraine.
This during a major corruption scandal where billions of dollars and arms donated by USA and the West has been siphoned off or ended up on a lucrative black market. Bear in mind, that before this war began in 2022, Ukraine was regarded as the most corrupt country in Europe.
A leopard does not change its spots overnight and high profile resignations are occurring.
Additional to these national leaders, is the European Commission (EC) led by Ursula van der Leyen. Then there is the most excessive title for the post of High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy – held by the clueless Kaja Kallas (Estonia) – a fanatical cheerleader for the EC and NATO.
Kallas, Leyen and Costa – all on the same page with clueless policies.
The majority of these leaders are ALL on the same page – blind, deaf and dumb by supporting policies that ignore history and perpetuate endless war.
They appear to be irrationally obsessed by a powerful thoughtform of anti-Russian sentiment – as is the majority of Western populations who concur with their leaders.
Note the word “sentiment”, from the Latin – sentire,- “to feel” relating to the emotional nature, not clarity of thinking or mindfulness. This is somewhat ironic that the second part of the word is “mental”, relating to a formed “opinion” – based on an emotional perception.

When searching for images on “sentiment” – all results are very dry graphs from the realm of concrete mind analysis. Whereas “sentimental” yields all that is “touchy, feeley” and romantic!

Several readers in the past have accused the author of being a “Putin lover” and other nasty criticisms (not fit for print!), demonstrating the degree of polarisation and animosity that this war has created.
But for many, these are attitudes that people have held all their lives – the current situation is the cherry on a cake that has been baked since the end of WWII.
The narrative conjurers seek division and distraction – in an already poorly informed populace, easy prey to manipulation. Hence, public perspectives are emotionally driven and factually distorted, reflecting a poverty of history.

As an esoteric historian, the author has enumerated and repeated the facts of the Russia-Ukraine situation many times. Who among newsletter subscribers (especially in Europe), have put aside cultural conditioning and national prejudices, to truly examine or re-examine the historical context behind the situation as it is in 2025?

But many will believe what they want to believe, without digesting facts, even when they are served, warmed-up on the proverbial silver platter! Again, similar to the Covid era, “cognitive dissonance” reigns.
Ukraine is now well and truly defeated, as are the European leaders. NATO is waning in its power, struggling for legitimacy – and, continually bolstering its position by repeating the lie that Russia is a threat to Europe.

All these leaders are stubbornly hanging on, trying to save face, prevaricating and tampering with the peace deal. Similarly, within Washington there are some like Marco Rubio who have a deep hatred for Russia and are allegedly trying to undermine the peace deal.
Macron whispers sweet nothings …
Short-sighted and foolish would be an understatement, prisoners of limited perceptions, easily malleable puppets for the dark cabals that pull strings behind the scenes.
Yet Europe and NATO’s continual provocation of Russia is still very dangerous, as it supports radical options for Ukraine – should they consider taking more desperate measures as an exit from their current hopeless situation.
Gemini rising Zelensky – the Western marionette for the proxy war against Russia – continually perverts the truth – an “empire of lies” quipped one observer.
This carefully cultivated TV hero who was voted president on the platform of peace – supported by billionaire oligarchs and whose net worth has considerably appreciated at the expense of his Ukrainian compatriots.
Now with the resignation of his right-hand-man – Andriy Yermak (nicknamed Ali Baba!) – on corruption charges, it appears Zelensky will be further exposed, and his days numbered.
This proxy war against Russia from NATO and the West (USA, UK, France, Germany and the EU), has now seen an extraordinary death toll for Ukrainians.
The degree of agony suffering from this totally avoidable war is unfathomable – the blighted lives and psychological scars will remain for decades. Particularly for the hundreds of thousands of young men, now being press-ganged off the street into military service, given very little training and then despatched to the “meat grinder” of the front line.

Over the past few years, officials and mainstream media have conspired to keep the casualty figures low, reversing the greater number for Ukraine – by attributing them to Russia.
By attempting to minimise the severity of the situation, they have hoodwinked the public and created false hope. Lying propaganda has perpetuated this war – and the illusion under which 70% of the West labours.
An Esoteric Perspective on Illusion
“Illusion, glamour and maya … and their powerful assault upon the consciousness of humanity … every nation—United Nations as well as Totalitarian Nations—are tainted with this universal condition.
The freedom of the world is consequently largely dependent upon those people in every nation who have moved forward out of one or other of these “glamorous illusions and mayavic impressions” – of the human soul into a state of awareness wherein they can see the conflict in its wider terms.”8
As most students are aware, Maya concerns the physical plane, Glamour the astral plane and Illusion the mental plane. Although most of the world is still immersed in glamour, there is an increasing incidence of illusion – as Humanity becomes more mentally polarised.
Illusion appears as the response of the thinking world to presented truths – and untrue interpretations of truth add to the general illusion. The masses then recognise illusion as truth, e.g. theological dogmas or political ideologies.
Intuition – or the sixth sense, direct knowledge – dispels illusion, but because most of the world is still learning to use the concrete mind, its intuition only partially sparks.
Also because the majority of humanity is still on the mutable cross of evolution, i.e. has not “woken up” to the realisation of the soul – but this has been changing rapidly in recent years.
And in this interim period between the zodiac ages of Pisces and Aquarius, illusion can become a potent glamour – where feelings are alloyed with cold thought: Kama-manas or “desire-mind”.
This combination of illusion-glamour characterises where the world is as a whole, today. Hence, in attempting to balance the pairs of opposites upon the mental plane, many fall into the trap of illusion-glamour. It is however, part of the Path, par for the course.
A good example of mass glamour was during the Covid crisis 2020-2023, where Humanity was scared out of its wits by a cruel and deliberate campaign.
The years 2020 to 2022 saw this massive Covid assault upon Humanity – through media, Big Pharma, WHO, WEF and Govt. Then as if by magic (or black propaganda), the crisis changed direction around Feb. 2022:
“Look over here, evil Putin-Russia – defend Ukraine – Zelensky hero”. And so the Covid crisis gradually faded from the headlines, replaced by another divisive distraction.
And just like the Coronavirus “plannedemic”, a majority fell for it and received their next “vaccine” – a political indoctrination jab. The veil of glamour-illusion was pulled over many eyes.
And again, the consensual mass media played their role “educating” the masses with an imposed narrative, resulting in the situation today – as the above statistics reflect.
As noted in another article about Zelensky, besides being a chameleon actor, he is a duplicitous Gemini rising with Neptune in Sagittarius opposite, well known in its lower octave for deceit and routine lying.
The ludicrous lie is that Russia wants to attack Europe, when in fact the reverse has been fabricated. Why would the largest nation on Earth want to “invade” Europe when it already has a bounty of resources and extensive territory?
The current European leadership and NATO are virtually joined at the hip in their respective headquarters in Brussels. They seek to perpetuate “defence” of Ukraine through the cynical motive of eventually taking advantage of Ukraine’s resources.
By the way, Belgium is a Sagittarius soul with a Gemini personality – and Brussels is a Gemini soul with a Capricorn personality – a lot of emphasis on this Sag-Gemini axis! (See 2018 article: Belgium: Sagittarian Soul – Holding the European Vision?)
Many European nations are now expanding their military expenditure in anticipation of following through on their stated policies toward Russia. This is insanity, based upon the illusory bubbles these leaders inhabit.
France intends to expand its army, with military service restored on a voluntary basis – nearly 30 years after the end of conscription. France’s top general made the ridiculous statement that the country must be ready “to lose its children” – since Russia was “preparing for a confrontation with our countries by 2030”.
“Europe is rushing to bolster its defence industry and its deployment capability after radically cutting them back since the cold war. Russia is perceived by European militaries as a potential direct threat within two to five years. EU foreign ministers underlined that Russia remains the primary security threat and that further pressure through sanctions is needed.”
Rothschild apprentice and ideologue – President Macron, has Sun-Mercury-Venus in Sagittarius opposite Jupiter in Cancer, hence prone to exaggeration and inflating the narrative. (According to some pundits, Macron’s marriage is a lie.)
Macron proclaimed, “Russia has chosen France as its enemy.” Russian foreign minister (“long suffering”) Lavrov said, “I don’t know where Macron got this belief that Russia declared France an enemy”, calling these statements dangerous, absurd, and politically manufactured.
Paris claims Russia is preparing for war. Moscow says France is preparing its own people for sacrifice. Lavrov stated, “France has been unfair to Russia for a long time”, linking the current crisis to a deeper pattern of French behavior.
This included the Minsk Agreements — which François Hollande along with Angela Merkel later admitted were never meant to be implemented. Obviously this betrayal reflects their contempt toward Russia.
Lavrov said that France’s political class is undergoing a crisis of identity and authority: “These are the convulsions of a state mourning the loss of its stateness, its imperialist colonial past.” [e.g. Some of the former colonies in Africa, the Americas etc.]
He argued that Macron’s rhetoric reflects not strategic logic, but political desperation – driven by low approval ratings and the need to appear strong on the international stage.
Moscow interprets this not as evidence of Russian aggression, but as Europe militarizing itself while shifting blame outward. Russia’s final message: “We do not plan to attack France.”
European leaders make enormous contradictions by stating that Russia is too weak to win in Ukraine, but simultaneously claim Russia is strong enough to conquer Europe next.
Lavrov said Western elites have locked themselves into a narrative where war with Russia is inevitable, because they built their political careers on promising a Russian defeat.”9
From Merkel to Mertz
“Putin must realize that he has no chance of winning the war against Ukraine,” underscoring a firm European stance that the war in Ukraine can’t be won by Russia without compromising the established European order of freedom and peace.
Merz’s comments align with broader diplomatic messaging from Western capitals, which stress that any lasting resolution must respect Ukraine’s territorial integrity and involve European partners rather than being dictated by external powers.
The chancellor also highlighted Germany’s commitment to increasing financial aid and leveraging frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine’s reconstruction, signaling sustained political and economic backing for Kyiv.”
The Role of Pisces in France & Germany
There has been a consideration of the Sagittarius-Gemini arms of the mutable cross, yet deeper analyses must include the other two arms – Virgo-Pisces. (Especially at this full moon where there is a grand cross in mutable signs.) At the end of the Age of Pisces, the Piscean influence through Europe is strong:
France is a Pisces soul, Paris a Virgo soul (Notre Dame). Germany is a Pisces personality. Very broadly speaking, France struck a major blow for humanity during that age – Liberty, Equality and Fraternity! Germany struck a major blow against humanity through its instigation of World Wars I & II.
But of course, the Axis powers were the catalyst of confrontation for Humanity to face its Dweller on the Threshold. Germany succumbed to it obsessed leaders through its Pisces personality:
“The major fault of the German people is an extreme negativity which makes them the most easily “conditioned” people of all time, plus an ability to accept dictatorship and propaganda without any questioning or revolt and with a deep sense of inferiority.
The German people are consequently easily exploited, easily convinced by those who can shout and threaten; they are easily regimented.”10
Of course Germany has moved in its maturity over the past century and, just because France is a Pisces soul, does not mean that it expresses that energy at its highest. This goes for all nations and their soul sign – they are working toward its ultimate expression.
Hence, it could be argued that the current Piscean alliance between France and Germany against Russia, is merely stoking the dwindling embers of their respective empires and of the Piscean Age. Much of their talk is simply the hot air of empty rhetoric – lingering like the smell of stale socks on the train from Paris to Berlin!
The element of Leo also prevails, ruling both Berlin and France at the personality level, hence the national pride of bygone eras still remains.
But both nations have committed to future military expansion and it appears that Germany’s stated intentions “on behalf of NATO” is actually a guise under which it can assert military might for the first time since WWII.
Germany is an Aries soul with a first ray personality, hence aggression and the will to dominate is part of its DNA. NATO has the Sun and five other planets in Aries, empowering these bedfellows:
“Germany’s huge defense spending increase and special €100 billion fund amount to a historic militarisation wave, even if justified as support for Ukraine and NATO. They warn that invoking alliance obligations and Russian threats allows Berlin to normalise a permanent high‑armament posture that would have been politically unthinkable a decade ago.
From this more critical ecosystem, the trend is seen as a serious militarization push, politically wrapped in NATO language, even if still hampered by practical obstacles. Whether one calls that “rebuilding under the guise of NATO” depends on how much weight is put on the alliance’s genuine security needs versus Germany’s renewed appetite for hard‑power status inside Europe.”11
Another WWII axis power – Japan, has also become a strong military power, recently incurring the wrath of China.

The explosion which killed 13 people and injured many more, is a good example of the volatility of Mars in fire sign Sagittarius. And most symbolic of the nearby famous Red Fort. In the event chart, Mars and Mercury were in Sagittarius, opposite unpredictable Uranus in late Taurus, in “easy opposition to Moon-Jupiter in Cancer.
Jupiter – and particularly the Moon in Cancer, were moving into an opposition to Pluto in Aquarius, both T-square to Venus in Scorpio – representing revenge, the sting in the tail of the Scorpion.
Delhi Explosion
It was also the precise moment of India’s monthly lunar return, Cancer being the sign of the homeland and its 1947 partition chart, shared with Pakistan. India’s lunar return chart has Taurus rising with Uranus the revolutionary closely conjunct the ascendant, hinting at more disruption to come. (And it did.)
Esoterically, India is a first ray/Aries soul and a fourth ray/Capricorn personality.
India’s spiritual motto: “I hide the light”.
Partition was based upon the religious majorities of Hindu (India) and Islam (Pakistan). India’s chart is Gemini rising, reflecting the warring brothers and their ongoing spats for 78 years.
There have been many bloody events during that time, reflecting the worst of the 6th ray of devotion and idealism – religious fanaticism. The latest skirmish was in May 2025, the peace for which was claimed by President Trump.
It has not been proven that Pakistan was responsible, but initial investigations pointed to the suicide bombers connected with the region of Jammu-Kashmir, long-disputed territory between the two nations. Who knows what other party may be fomenting trouble between the two nations.
But the day after the Delhi attack, paradoxically on Armistice Day 11-11-25, there was another suicide attack in Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad (City of Islam) – killing and injuring a similar amount of people -12/20 respectively.
In that event chart, Mars-Mercury retrogade in Sagittarius dominate the midheaven, but the tense T-square this time involves the Moon in Leo square to Venus in Scorpio and opposite Pluto in Aquarius.
Both nations share a lot of Leo planets: Mercury, Pluto, Saturn, Venus and Sun in Leo! The moon was passing over Mercury-Pluto at the time of the attack, transiting Sun in Scorpio was square the Leo Sun (s).
A lot national pride here, reflected in the proud-as-peacocks border-marching rituals conducted at the Wagah border. The ritual is symbolic of their shared brotherhood and rivalry – “a carefully choreographed contempt”. (Reminiscent of Monty Python’s Ministry of Silly Walks!)
Silly being the operative word – for pointless conflict over crystallised belief systems and squabbling over territory, when there is enough for everyone.
Mars in Sagittarius and Glamour
With Mars transiting through Sagittarius at the moment, it is worth considering some of its more esoteric implications.
The planetary link that oversees the transition from Scorpio to Sagittarius is Mars – the exoteric and esoteric ruler of Scorpio and the hierarchical ruler of Sagittarius. This is worth exploring, particularly on the theme of glamour – illusion as it expresses upon the astral plane.
Mars rules the solar plexus centre, the “gate” to the astral body. All of humanity is immersed in glamour and nobody upon the spiritual path is completely free from it – perhaps especially so!
“Glamour is astral in character, and is far more potent at this time than illusion, owing to the enormous majority of people who function astrally always.”12
Watery Scorpio is the pre-eminent sign of trial and challenges in one’s desire nature and the theme of glamour, encompassing a broad range of testings in emotional or astral control. Hence Scorpio’s keynote for the ordinary wheel and the bulk of humanity who are unawakened, “Let maya flourish and deception rule.”
Mars at the exoteric level rules the blind instinctual desire and its satiation whilst at the esoteric level, Mars conditions the awakened warrior who consciously enters the battle to overcome those impediments.
It takes many lives to triumph because there have been a lot of incarnations where “lower Mars” ruled. There are now millions of aspirants in the world who have “reversed the wheel” – have awakened to the soul, and are working at redeeming the lower nature – the etheric-physical, astral and mental vehicles.
The astral body is regarded as the most difficult, partly because it is linked to ancient Atlantis, where the race as a whole was astrally polarised. Even in this Fifth Rootrace – where mind is reaching a high point of development, the world is still predominantly astrally polarised.13
Humanity has many habitual Atlantean tendencies to destroy and transform, such as an insatiable appetite for sex, the material and theft of property. Mars as ruler of Sagittarius “hierarchically” means, speaking in terms of the deva kingdom:
“… the lunar lords of the form nature … must eventually be sacrificed to the higher spiritual aspect and brought under the control of the solar Angel.”14
Esoterically, the substance of all that composes the sheaths or bodies of the lower nature, are regarded as lives or deva substance. In earlier evolution those lives maintain complete dominance over the individual until soul awakening occurs and the long process of disciplining the lunar lives begins.
Throat chakra – with 16 petals.
Note that this self-disciplining leads the aspirant to the Path of Discipleship proper, where other “dis” skills have been learnt – discernment, dispassion and discrimination. Saturn is also regarded as the discipliner or disciplinarian because of the utilisation of mental energy to bring about astral control.
It is for this reason that Saturn rules the throat centre, gateway to the mental body. (The throat centre is also co-ruled by the Earth which is the esoteric ruler of Sagittarius.)
In the above passage, the phrase “lunar lords” refers to the moon – a specific physical connotation, but also an astral meaning because humans are still very much subject to the moon’s emotional “tides”.
Mars rules the solar plexus, but the co-ruler is Neptune, the one who governs the tides -in the ocean of emotion. In Esoteric Astrology, the Moon is regarded as “veiling” Neptune.
Solar plexus chakra – 10 petals.
Mars and Neptune are also co-rulers of the sixth ray of Devotion and Idealism, said to have its most powerful expression through Sagittarius in this cycle of history. The sixth ray is the “outgoing ray” – to the incoming seventh ray of Ceremonial Order.
The sixth ray is the most common energy conditioning the astral bodies of humanity and rules the personality of nations like USA and Russia.
Whilst Mars as ruler of Aries governs the creative impulses and aggression, it influences Sagittarius similarly. Sagittarius is a fire sign, whose roaring flames reaching upward are a symbol of the mind that aspires to reach the Divine.
Yet these flames are fanned by fiery Mars – an emotional enthusiasm that creates great devotion and idealism and/or fanaticism and fundamentalism. However,
“The effect of Mars is … largely mass effect and group results, producing great struggles but leading finally to great revelation … in Sagittarius, it is the revelation of the purpose of soul control over the lower kingdoms in nature, via the human centre of energy … Mars establishes relations between the opposites and is a beneficent and not a malefic factor …”15
This passage discusses the hierarchical rulership of Mars over Sagittarius as a whole, also adding emphasis of changing the old medieval astrology interpretation of Mars as a “malefic”.
Mars in Sagittarius in the birth chart has a tendency to be a “loose cannon” or impulsive. Mars can have all of the lower and higher qualities mentioned above, for the unawakened or awakened.
Mars in Sagittarius is the hunter of animals, seeker of teachers or “stalking” higher wisdom; it is also prominent in the horoscopes of some serial killers and snipers – those who use a rifle instead of a bow, but who utilise the same one-pointedness required to pursue their quarry.
The term “sniping” also applies to those who “snipe from the sidelines”, who interject reactive ideas (ill-informed opinions) without having given reflective, considered thought to a subject. (Collins Dictionary: Sniping – the act of adversely criticising a person or persons from a position of security.)
Many of us are or have been “guilty” of these kind of behaviours, and in this age of rapidly expanding ideas, one arena has been internet forums and social media.
There is a certain safety coming from a relative place of concealment, not physically face to face. This is all part of humanity starting to balance the opposites on the mental plane, learning what it is to truly think – by exchanging ideas.
Will Smith has Moon in Sagittarius!
This sniping upon the plane of the lower mind enables ego (Mars) to assert itself in an opinionated way without – to use a Sagittarian phrase, following through to the target in proper dialogue.
Often much speaking but no listening or consideration for another viewpoint. Sagittarius can be very loud and “in your face”.
Hence, Sagittarius might mindlessly “shoot off arrows” in all directions, usually with some emotional attachment or idée fixe around the topic in question.
It’s interesting to note a Sagittarian connection to the throat and sacral centres:
“We are told that Sagittarius governs the thighs, which are the main centre of physical power and protective strength, and also the sacral centre which provides the energy for the use of the creative powers of the physical life.
This is also symbolically true. In Sagittarius, the disciple has two things to discover within himself; these are the power to make progress upon the path and to walk the Way, and also the ability to create in the higher and spiritual sense.
This concerns the relationship between the sacral and the throat centres. These powers (the higher powers) are as yet embryonic in the earlier Sagittarian experience of the disciple, but they become more developed and potent as he cyclically returns to life experience in this sign.”16
The mental restlessness and lack of focus discussed above is the Gemini polarity of Sagittarius and is related to a passage from The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali,
“The gradual conquest of the mind’s tendency to flit from one object to another and the power of one-pointedness make the development of contemplation.”17
It is ironic that the image of the contemplative yogi is one of the highest symbols of Sagittarius. Yet – Sagittarians, before achieving that exalted stage are the worst listeners of the zodiac (Pisceans are the best!) – because they harbour the illusion that they know all. Strong Sagittarius or Jupiter placements can indicate the “know-it-alls” of the zodiac.
Part of the cause emanates from the rulership of expansive Jupiter in this sign, the planet that stimulates the will-to-know, which is humanity’s birthright. Also, the esoteric ruler of Sagittarius is the Earth and it is co-ruler of the throat centre with Saturn, hence knowledge and intelligence.
Sagittarius will often fanatically stick to its views and opinions, usually through and emotional adherence to ideas, hence idealism; conjuring up the image of the child blocking fingers in its ears, chanting, “na na na, can’t hear you!”
These points bring up the theme of right dialogue and communication, represented by Sagittarius polar-opposite Gemini. The Twins of Gemini represent the speaking and listening process that occurs between two parties – and if properly conducted, leads to a win-win, heart understanding for both: The Twins meet and merge.
This is true dialogue, as distinct from debate where often the ego has an investment in winning which is characteristic of the entire Western approach. (Debate in Tibetan Buddhist tradition is of a different order.)
The former “understands” and the latter fails to “stand under”, i.e. exercise some humility. Hence, again is revealed the egotistical nature of Mars ruling over Sagittarius in its lower expression, strongly activating the concrete mind.
The Sage (Nicholas Roerich)
When confronted with the El Diablo of an argumentative lower mind that will not listen, one must simply walk away, no point engaging!
Mars rules the five senses, hence has a close relation to the lower mind and also of course, kama-manas or desire-mind. All these factors are a great irony because Sage-ittarius is the sign of truth and wisdom – but they can also be the biggest idiots!
Such are the pairs of opposites – wisdom and stupidity. In these last few paragraphs above is emphasised again the important link between these two Mars-ruled signs, Scorpio and Sagittarius.
Another factor besides Mars, that provides an inter-sign link between Scorpio and Sagittarius, is the fixed star Antares – “the heart of the scorpion”:
“… other streams of energy … definitely play upon and affect our planetary life, such as those coming from … Antares and other stupendous suns … which are related to the constellations of the zodiac and whose force reaches us through these constellations and not directly.”18
Antares is placed sidereally in Scorpio, but tropically in Sagittarius:
“One of the Royal Stars of Persia called “The Watcher of the West”. Being a Royal Star it can bring great success but the possible cause of undoing is that the person goes to excess or become obsessive. Obsession leads to a downfall. However, by keeping a balance between success with one’s goals and the quality of life, the potential downfall is avoided.”19
Note the term “obsessive”, a term that can be applied equally to Scorpio or Sagittarius. Hence, the work of Scorpio-Sagittarius is closely related to the transformation of forces within the emotional body/solar plexus and their ultimate raising to the heart.
It is this heart quality for which Sagittarius or “Jupiterians” are well known – hearty. The heart centre is ruled by Jupiter which is also the ruler of Sagittarius.
The Mars-transformed Sagittarian has raised energies from solar plexus to heart, uninfluenced by kama-manasic prejudice – and is now able to broadcast generously its bounty of wisdom.
The Walker upon the Way has emerged from the darkness of the Scorpio experience into the fiery light of Sagittarius. S/he has advanced from a believer to being a knower.
The Hermit tarot card is one of the best symbols of Sagittarius; he has emerged from his cave and carries this fiery light in his lantern, illuminating darkness wherever he wanders.

Your tone has changed a great deal its early in the sign to to make some of your assertions,you left out some of the actions that were made by the Russians to start the conflict in the beginning ,with there special operations to include WAR CRIMES and civilians being raped and pillaged by Russian troops,children stolen and villages pillaged. yes a very special operation in deed!
War is hell and not to excuse that behaviour, but in the heat of battle primordial forces are released that presidents and commanders have no control over. There are thousands of examples of allied forces in WWII, through to massacres in Vietnam, extreme examples by Ukrainians and the ongoing slaughter in Gaza. The latest of which, two unarmed young boys surrendering but murdered point blank.

I have never understood how Churchill has never been held responsible for all of his evil deeds in S.Africa and Dresden. His ability to turn a phrase was remarkable,
Revisionist history rarely takes into account the general culture of the period, expecting it to live up to the modern era. Elsewhere the Tibetan refers to FDR and thereby implies that Churchill was on a par with him – or close to. We must also remember DK’s quote:

The history of Europe and Russia is linked by the sacred energy of the Planetary Logos, as demonstrated by the fact that the spiritual affluence, or chakra, of the Logos that governs both Russia and Europe is located in Geneva. In other words, Russia cannot distance itself from Europe; rather, it must unite. And what better way to do so than through its “little brothers,” the countries of Eastern Europe? They are its valuable link for this union, provided they feel respected, not intimidated or even humiliated.
David, Your comments suggest that Russia seeks to distance itself from Europe and that they intimidate the smaller nations of eastern Europe? The facts of the matter are that Russia has always been open to good relations to Europe but has been blocked by foolish leaders in Europe working with NATO. Once those leaders are replace with true statesmen – and NATO ceases to exist, Russia can get on with the task of cultivating goodwill with its neighbours and Europe. Russia has already bent over backwards to keep good relations and exercise restraint, it is incumbent upon Europe’s leaders and NATO to let go of their aggression, not Russia.
Already we see the media twisting Putin’s latest responses to Euro baiting, saying he is prepared to defend Russia, by Europe suggesting that he is threatening them. If anyone believes what the Euro fools are saying, then they are just as foolish.
Phillip, I also think that Europe’s distrust of Russia is exaggerated. And I also think that Russia wants (even longs for) to have good relations with Europe. But it must be acknowledged that it’s understandable that European thinking is heavily influenced by the cruel humiliation Ukraine is suffering. Enough of so much death.
I think that if Russia reduced its military aggression and sought other paths to peace, Europeans’ perception of Russia would change completely, and NATO would no longer have a reason to exist.
I wish NATO had disappeared when the Berlin Wall fell; it was a great opportunity, but I imagine that due to the economic interests of the large arms companies (almost all of them US-based), its dissolution wasn’t possible.
Again David, it depends upon one’s perspective, influenced by propaganda media and stirred up emotion – or the more erudite global analysts such as Mearscheimer, Blumenthal or Krainer, Diesen, Henningsen – to name a few. Taking these perspectives into account, which includes real history, Ukraine brought the “cruel humiliation” upon itself, by selling itself out to the West/NATO/USA/Europe – who wanted to use it as a proxy to destabilise/attack Russia. Even before that, Ukraine was regarded as the most corrupt nation in Europe.
Furthermore, the nation has been subjected to a lot of propaganda creating a false ideology, leading to the tragic death of what is estimated now as 1.8 million Ukrainian soldiers – the biggest slaughter since WWI!.
And of course Russia brought that about, not through an aggressive plan to attack its brother Ukraine, but to respond to the threat on its sovereignty. Russia repeatedly and patiently warned the world about that for decades but especially the last decade. One red line after another was crossed and the Euro-fools are still mindlessly baying for blood.
So to say that if “Russia reduced its military aggression and sought other paths to peace” is a nonsense, it has already done that. It has bent over backwards to accommodate all diplomatic advances, been betrayed by the Minsk agreements and had to deal with manipulative corporations and banks. They are fed up and who can blame them, the hollow peace agreement will not work as it is and Russia may be forced to complete its task militarily.
I am reminded of that great anthem from Patti Smith: “The power to dream to rule – To wrestle the earth from fools.”
Well, regarding patriotic sentiments, I think it’s best not to take extreme positions. This type of feeling is very relative and tends to be exclusionary, so it’s better not to interpret it radically.
And on the other hand, regarding more global sentiments that believe humanity is a whole (and not a part or a nation), I don’t believe in “good guys and bad guys.” Rather, I believe in an inspiring duality. As Patti Smith herself suggests in her poem:
“Vengeful aspect became suspect
And bending low as if to hear
And the armies ceased advancing
Because the people had their ear
And the shepherds and the soldiers
Lay beneath the stars
Exchanging visions and laying arms”
Not sure what you are saying here David, and who is expressing “patriotic sentiments” or “taking “extreme positions … interpret radically”? It might appear to be radical to those who are conservative or who have run with a long term propaganda narrative. But if you think that is the case with my perspective, I do not take the side of Russia, simply the truth as I recognise it. One day Russia-Ukraine will become whole again.
In this critical period of the forerunner, there are actually “good guys and bad guys” – as I have continually referred to in recent years. The Materialistic Forces have been working through the Western nations, trying to prevent the esoteric triangle of the Aquarian cycle emerging: The leading nations of USA, UK and Russia.
Very ironic as the UK and USA were world leaders at various points of history, now UK is blatantly blocking that progress as was the previous US administration. The current admin has been quite ambiguous -blowing hot and cold and its proposed peace plan is not worth the paper it is printed on. Many observers now, both exoteric and esoteric recognise Russia as the only adult in the room.
Many of us from different parts of the world recognize profound truths in Bailey’s books. These include truths concerning the three key nations for humanity’s Aquarian future: Russia, England, and the USA, as well as Europe and its mediating role between America/West and Asia/East.
From my own limited perspective, I imagine it’s not easy for any of these four actors to navigate the new energies that the Age of Aquarius proposes.
On the one hand, it’s clear that the old behavioral patterns of European countries, including England, contaminate and undermine the decisions that the European Union must make. On the other hand, a desire for grandeur is evident in the powerful dynamics of the USA. And finally, in Russia’s position, one can perceive (at least I perceive it this way) an inflexible authoritarianism; one only has to look at the situation of the many artists, politicians, and journalists who have dared to oppose this authoritarianism.
This is why I say that “there is no good or bad,” but rather karmic inertias that have already expired, destructive inertias…, destruction that, although it is painful to recognize, opens the way for the New.
All hands Nato against the Russia

The war in Ukraine is the culmination of a 30-year collapse of the European security order.
Far from being inevitable or predetermined, it was born from a systematic dismantling of the principles that rooted the post-Cold War agreement: the neutrality of States positioned between military blocs, the commitment of the USA and Germany not to expand the Natto East, in the former Soviet sphere, and the doctrine of the Security Organization and Cooperation in Europe (Osce) according to that security must be indivisible, that is that no State can strengthen security for the sake of another.
Contrary to the dominant Western narratives describing Russia as the one-sided aggressor, it is alleged that the subsequent US administrations, supported in key moments by the EU, have moved Ukraine away from its constitutionally sounded neutrality, dragging it into a geopolitical conflict. At different times – from 1990, 1994, 2008, 2014, 2015, 2021 and 2022 until today – explicit diplomatic routes (exit ramps) have existed that could have secured Ukraine’s sovereignty, protected European security and prevent war. Every time, they have been repelled by the West.
When Ukraine gained independence in 1991, neutrality was a pillar of the political agreement. The Declaration of State Sovereignty of 1990 stated that the country intended to be a “permanently neutral state” that would not have joined military blocs. Such a principle became law: Article 18 of the 1996 Constitution, binds the State to neutrality and non-alignment. The Ukrainian public opinion reinforced this position. From the 90s until the beginning of 2014, the majority has always opposed joining Nato.
From 1989 to 1991, Western leaders have repeatedly assured Soviet officials that Nato would not expand East if Moscow accepted German reunification, as well documented in declassified archives. On February 9, 1990, US Secretary of State Baker said to Gorbaciov: “Nato’s jurisdiction will not move one inch to the East.” German Foreign Minister Genscher declared in January 1990: “There will be no expansion of the territory of Nato towards the East”.
The final Act of Helsinki (1975) and the Paris Charter (1990) established that security in Europe had to be collective, not zero sum. The European Security Charter of Osce 1999 reaffirmed: “No State… he will increase his own security at the expense of the security of other States”. Enlargement, especially in Ukraine, violated this principle.
In 1994, Ukraine returned to Russia control of the Soviet-era nuclear arsenal based on the Budapest Memorandum, in a security context defined by three conditions: 1) Ukraine would have remained neutral 2) NATO would not have expanded towards Ukraine 3) European security would have been based on Osce principles, not on the politics of blocking.
(… ) The tragedy is that, with the passing of the 90s, the US strategy has conformed to the logic articulated by Brzezinski in The Great Chessboard (1997): “Without Ukraine, Ukraine ceases to be an Eurasian empire.” “If Moscow takes back control of Ukraine… Russia regains the means to become a powerful imperial State. Such a thought has since shaped the US strategic perspective. The aim was then to incorporate Ukraine into NATO.
(… ) In 2004, the USA and EU supported the Orange Revolution, providing financial assistance to civil society groups through the National Endowment for Democracy, Usaid, and various foundations. (… ) Then, in 2008, at the Nato summit in Bucharest, and despite the strong opposition from Germany and France, the USA forced Nato to declare: “Ukraine and Georgia will become members”. The German Chancellor Merkel later admitted: “From the Ukrainian point of view, this would have been a declaration of war [for Putin]”. But the public opinion remained in a vast majority against the accession: presidential candidate Viktor Yanukovich won the elections of 2009/10 on a platform of neutrality and his administration passed a law codifying Ukraine as a state not part of the bloc.
However, pro-Nato forces in Ukraine and the West saw an opportunity when in 2013 Yanukovich postponed the signing of an association agreement with the EU, which triggered mass protests fuelled by the US. The US regime change apparatus went into action. (… ) On February 21, 2014 the EU mediated an agreement with Yanukovich, based on constitutional reforms, national unity government and early elections. Instead, in a few hours, armed groups occupied government buildings and Yanukovich fled, but of course he didn’t resign. Parliament removed it without constitutional procedures and the USA gave its support to the regime of fact: the EU remained silent and let the American deep state take charge.
The new government adopted nationalist policies and will declare an “anti-terrorism” military operation against the protests in the ethnic Russian eastern regions. This militarized a political dispute and made a compromise impossible. The new political class started talking about expelling Russia from its naval base in Crimea. In the end, Russia took over Crimea, bringing concerns for national security related to the Black Sea Fleet.
To stop the fighting in the East, Russia helped to mediate the Minsk II agreement. Such intention, approved unanimously by Security Council resolution 2202, provided for a ceasefire, autonomy (“special status”) for Donetsk and Lugansk, constitutional reforms to protect the Russian ethnic minority and the withdrawal of heavy weapons. Ukraine refused to implement the agreement, especially the autonomy for the Donbass. Merkel later admitted that the purpose of the agreement was to “give Ukraine time” to strengthen its own military force.
(… ) Between 2015 and 2021, Ukraine became a Nato partner, thanks to joint exercises, new command structures in accordance with Alliance standards, training missions between the USA and the UK, intelligence integration and, above all, billions of dollars in arms transfers. In 2021, Ukraine had the largest army in Europe outside of Russia
In December 2021, Russia presented two draft treaties, one for the USA and the other for the EU, inviting the West to renounce Ukraine’s accession to NATO, withdraw Nato weapons from Russian borders, return to 1997 deployment levels and restore Osce’s indivisible security principles.
The US refused to negotiate with Russia about the enlargement, claiming that Nato’s “open door policy” was none of his business. The failure of the attempt has led Russia to launch the Special Military Operation (Smo). In 2023 Secretary-General Nato Stoltenberg summed up the situation like this: “The context was that Putin, in fall 2021, had declared, and in fact, sent, a draft treaty that he wanted Nato to sign, to promise that there would be no further expansion. It was a prerequisite for not invading Ukraine. Obviously we didn’t sign it…. So he went to war to prevent Nato from approaching its borders. He got the exact opposite”.
(… ) In short, the war in Ukraine was not the result of ancient hatred or a sudden act of aggression, but the predictable result of a series of decisions by the USA and EU that dismantled Ukrainian neutrality, rejected diplomacy with Russia and subordinated Ukrainian security to A failed western geopolitical strategy. A lasting solution to the war requires a return to the principles that led the post-Cold War period: Ukraine’s neutrality, Europe’s indivisible security, and genuine diplomacy between the EU and Russia .

To regularly release cares and worries that constantly demand attention. To invoke and invite healing solar forces into every fibre of your being.
To quieten the activity of the lower mind that is constantly responding to stimuli – speculating upon the future or looking back into the past.
To cultivate the present or the Presence – the soul or spirit that comprehends the purpose of incarnation – and how it plays its part within the greater community of souls.
To penetrate more deeply into the mysteries of existence. To visualise one’s greatest potential and realise its manifestation. Every individual meditation contribution enables the soul of Humanity to awaken into a greater expansion of awareness.
Here is where we get to reject the sense of powerlessness in the face of selfish, dominating forces on our planet. Where we cultivate the subjective and emerging paradigm of the Aquarian Era – co-operation and community that is replacing the Piscean past.
The Forces of Materialism know that their time is up, thrashing madly like cornered beasts in their desperate attempt to hang on to power and stay in control, cultivating ever more radical fear-mongering, propaganda and lies.
Do not be duped, recognise, reject and resist their hollow rhetoric. Now is the time for the Army of the Light to hold the line, to make a concerted effort to dissolve and diminish the darkness.

Full Moon in Sagittarius, an experience I shall never forget!
I was in Switzerland for mom’s 106th birthday, on December 2, in a Center for older persons in Zurich. My brother from Brazil was present, too. A beautiful and very happy event.
When Mami was tired and gone to sleep, Max and I went to a big store to search and find a pyjama for our granddaughter in Brazil. Again back in the street, there was a tramway caos and we had to wait a very long time in the cool night. Next day, I laid to bed with fever, sinusitis and bronchitis.
December 4, 2025, a very important Full Moon Meditation, and I couldn’t even think!
LESSON: Never permit to nothing and nobody, to loose your rhythms. From hearing the Celestial Music, you may fall to Earth very quickly…! Even if you were full of Goodwill to prepare everything for the visit of your brother or a friend. First, you must love yourself, the daily activities, your studies, your meditations, your webinars. Only afterwards, you may think to help others.
I am a double Capricorn and Mercury is there , too. I, sincerely hope that Christmas, my birthday, and the Capricorn Full Moon will restore me.
